increases the tuition fee by few percent every year and international

While the average cost of living for a typical graduate student has ' l4 m' [- E8 v7 }1 V
increased by something more than 70% percent we are getting paid . E4 N, z+ ?- ]' a+ X' Z- K) `
exactly for the same amount of money that we were offered in our
9 N. m6 ^, z1 s" P* {/ L" J; P/ Oadmission letter (18000 CAD + 1500 CAD for international students 6 K+ g, v, p0 {6 L2 a, w
=19500CAD. What I get is something around 1000CAD/month!!! after
& x! R. U* q1 R% Y) _tuition fee and taxes). To make the argument easy to understand just ' y0 O$ l( a ~7 d
imagine that a new student gets the same amount of money that I am 1 l+ s7 c: c0 {8 V" _3 V
getting now and I was getting 3 years ago but he or she (like all of

is to question the adequacy of financial aid for graduate and ( U3 G7 y0 ?4 W* f6 h- g/ ?) }
especially international students. Isn抰 it time for the GSA to take
) h. R H8 @3 v3 G) f
3 q* B) m% M3 X1 T8 iinitiative in raising the issue of increasing financial aid for / U* n: C$ t1 c7 U) c( Q3 [7 \
graduate students so that the can afford this increase in costs?
