According to the RCMP, the 26-year-old woman from Strathmore, Alta., faces 12 charges including fraud, theft and false pretences.

4 N7 U" w8 h8 |; y' R. V# aThe RCMP began investigating following a complaint that money was missing from the town of Kyle.

It was learned that about $18,000 was missing, the RCMP said.

The woman is scheduled to be in provincial court in Swift Current, Sask., on July 25.

Kyle, a town of about 500 people, is close to the Alberta border, about 320 kilometres west of Regina.
