TEMPORARY CREATION ASSISTANTS

) M4 A' s) X: o/ g6 K9 ]. NJOB SUMMARY:  Under the supervision of the Senior Operations Manager-
% S; s4 D- A" Z$ U: uSU Print Centre and Operations Manager-Production & Technical  ) @( E. s; D" h4 q- {  a: Y+ B
Support, these positions are responsible for assisting in all aspects  
& p  b3 s" a  G$ `4 M' Y, I9 o2 vof Course Pack production.
- k7 M; \9 m# j( ^# s! f# i) A" q: L) o3 z2 B& j) I) L' w5 I7 {
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  P( Q# J, E" [; t6 m( n, {
1) To assist in the creation of course packs, including the scanning  8 E. j; P) e! K! m- }& m' C% p
of paper files, editing of digital files, proofing and printing.; k5 L& T6 ^& p" a
  {3 W  O7 }1 n) S* _$ B% [
2) To develop a good working knowledge of print equipment, including  0 p2 [* s5 o+ N5 P) o2 b  l
print queue, paper loading, toner and technical troubleshooting.% A% N5 C1 p- p/ `* ^/ }

9 C/ Y, d$ A' R& a% i3) To assist with all aspects of bindery, packing and shipping of  
! B+ W; p! v  b4 S& ^8 p7 }. y+ n3 ncourse packs. This includes following operational procedures and  
3 y- [" u6 Z2 |! y( y( z6 Bkeeping appropriate and accurate records.: [1 @$ J' T( o/ n) F& ]

4) To communicate stock needs and printing and bindery equipment  8 N4 \# l9 e( y+ }$ I/ j
failures to the Operations Manager.

5) To develop a working knowledge of Access Copyright requirements,  ; W8 p5 @6 [" i& o7 N% {; r7 p; a
and adhere to regulations as appropriate.' x, k  S+ |2 Y! w0 D* m, t

6) To contribute positively to a cooperative working environment.* P5 t& L# w! [) b* K

/ w' t1 z$ ?& RQUALIFICATIONS:
+ L8 G& V) M  v( e7 D1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.1 h$ \/ Y# E5 n4 |1 S, g. |. S
2) Attention to details. Excellent organizational and communication  : A3 n5 C5 R9 v; M& f3 A  k
skills.
, I% e! h5 V! G! g# ^7 l* j6 P" C) ~. k
3) A good working knowledge of Windows would be helpful.. a6 a) Y. u. F  O) H
) {$ u3 c# U8 P- S0 s" R
4) An aptitude for technical problem determination and resolution.2 k1 c4 K! U) `6 D& M3 S' S5 ^* Y- n
4 _. h- c) V; b+ C, R8 S7 B
5) Ability to work in high stress environment.) |. |- {5 {9 u! q3 H0 N* q5 N

Wage: $9.18/hour
