JOB SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Senior Operations Manager-
, }2 d2 P- @9 a* K* oSU Print Centre and Operations Manager-Production & Technical
0 G: }) N; o$ u/ ^8 xSupport, these positions are responsible for assisting in all aspects 0 ~- h) s1 a$ g/ a5 Z
of Course Pack production.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
9 B p0 U% E+ f# V# @; Z1) To assist in the creation of course packs, including the scanning
2 H. k7 x2 [' m6 Sof paper files, editing of digital files, proofing and printing.6 T' O( |+ }- s9 S/ }! N5 v9 }0 b+ W
6 E7 a, k0 ?& T, r h" I; \, _2) To develop a good working knowledge of print equipment, including 2 Q8 V* w6 G& x7 v
print queue, paper loading, toner and technical troubleshooting.8 u# a. _3 a$ h9 ?& X& G+ A! e* C! m
, L+ W9 M% `; z/ c9 D" ~+ f* G
3) To assist with all aspects of bindery, packing and shipping of
4 L/ L+ G- n7 v% `5 T. ecourse packs. This includes following operational procedures and # [& i/ ]9 S0 b) h5 c( `( A
keeping appropriate and accurate records.! o/ C1 g0 B# {0 r& V+ s- D! I1 q
- `/ Q6 M: Q/ ]5 d5 [# P* H- Y4 }4) To communicate stock needs and printing and bindery equipment

5) To develop a working knowledge of Access Copyright requirements,

QUALIFICATIONS:
7 ]3 F0 V5 E7 Q7 L f3 A, a1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.
; Z2 z& j1 M2 D! G) w1 j7 L3 {+ s* k2) Attention to details. Excellent organizational and communication
2 V; z6 j6 a6 H$ ~skills.+ V: a8 K, |) g
5 _+ u$ ~$ @ ]( ]0 H0 H* d3) A good working knowledge of Windows would be helpful.

- }' T; K7 _% l* p7 v# S1 K4) An aptitude for technical problem determination and resolution.! f, A% r3 j8 s {( b
# w# }. H* A- k W" {5) Ability to work in high stress environment.

6) Experience in print industry an asset but not necessary.
