留学生可以为孩子申请Alberta child health benefit吗？

; v; U4 t$ U( I2 r如果真的是这样，那我可能真的被忽悠瘸了……去年我儿子在Grey Nuns出生的时候，“牛奶金”就被拒了,打电话理论不成，最后把PR卡传真给他才批下来……可怜我当年Jason Lang的奖学金被拒了三次，去找他们，说我是留学生，不算Alberta Resident, 政府和大学也太坑人啦！

楼主申请的是低收入家庭的福利 不是牛奶金 所以答案不一

1 x4 \) {& o6 r: e( G满足以上全部条件，最后一条是：你或者你的配偶或者同居者必须是公民或者永久居民， 或者受保护者或者在爱省居住时间超过18个月或者你的居住许可到达19个月。看看自己的签证，上面的时间。19个月以上是可以的。

楼主申请的是健康福利，直接在学校保险里面里面加入就可以了，孩子就可以享受和你一样的医疗保险。和我们民间说的牛奶金是不同的，牛奶金是CCTB=Canada Child Tax Benefit，是报税者所得的福利。自己报税，人家寄表格给你填，然后就得到的。

/ @) z) T: Q, m8 m7 ?4 i谢谢您提供的链接和详尽的答复。看来答案不统一的原因就是大家没有看清楚我的题目：留学生能申请alberta child health benefit (AHCB). 而不是大家俗称的牛奶金（CCTB canada child tax benefit）。我知道牛奶金是公民或者PR才能享受的。而这个AHCB不知道留学生及其小孩能否享受？

Can I get the Canada child tax benefit?

( s5 j' l5 y# v$ }) [•you must live with the child, and the child must be under the age of 18; (我假定你和小孩住一起)
•you must be primarily responsible for the care and upbringing of the child; (我假定你照顾小孩)
•you must be a resident of Canada; and (我假定你住在加拿大)
•you or your spouse or common-law partner must be a Canadian citizen, a permanent resident, a protected person, or a temporary resident who has lived in Canada for the previous 18 months, and who has a valid permit in the 19th month. (你肯定是temporary resident， 但是我没法确定你前18个月是不是住在加拿大，第19个月还有没有合法身份)


换句话说，只要你满足4点中的前三点，而且你在加拿大住了1年半，接下来还能合法的住，你就有Canada Child Tax Benefit。不需要公民或者PR

肯定可以，我朋友跟你情况一样，孩子在国内出生，现在在领 benefit。但他要求孩子必须在这连续住满18个月。
