This is how I view the effects of major road way on the location of newer neighborhoods:

1) Worst: Cameron Heights

2) Worse: Terwillegar Garderns
Major roads on 3 sides (and a crappy neighborhood on the 4th)

- h; }- k2 x9 V  G3) So So:  Magrath etc.
3 y4 ~# W8 W. cMain entrance on secondary roads (Rabbit Hill)
( L: V# F% s: o& A6 @$ OMajor roads on 2 sides

9 O: H& L+ A2 R2 G7 \. O9 E, w4) Good: Upper Windermere, Eagle Ridge
Main entrance on "3rd level" of roads that leads to the river valley and/or golf course.
No Major roads on any side. No crappy neighborhood around. No visible power line.
4 v' r6 b; p1 O1 M# a
5) Best: Windermere Ridge
Same as 4.
1 F$ E5 @# l% m5 A) m2 y/ N+ all in one cul-de-sac
9 {( ]0 W, |6 H+ DC1/DC2 zoning
7 F$ ~, R# i- L" O0 _+ No condo in view
