The obsession for longitudinal engine mount is not needed for this type of SUV. It "may" be good for real off road purpose. But no one is going off road with a $50k SUV. ( H# x5 b6 x2 b8 L- m, d2 d' ~. h" O% [% k4 C# {7 S G
If you want longitudinal engine mount AWD, the best choice is Subaru Outback. (Actually, every Subaru is longitudinal AWD)

It has nothing to do with size. If there is a patch of snow that an Outback can't drive through, no other vehicle can. Because there will be tons of other passenger cars stalled, the road will be blocked already.

I ever meet this scenario: in big storm of eastern Canada, the outback spin 4 wheel as it can reach, but it still can not move as it is small rim and light weight. hehe. this not be applied to truck or big size SUV

No need to "tai gang". Whatever you call it, LZ isn't going to buy an F150. LZ is not going off road. LZ is interested in MDX, RX, or equivalent.
