1 c9 ^" [, L1 c- O2 c9 D• Transport passengers to and from destinations on prescribed scheduled routes./ D+ m {5 U' p+ o1 }0 l( s5 x4 x- N* g
• Collect proper fare, issue transfers.
6 ^% W7 e8 x% d( i1 k! D( q1 ^/ _• Respond to customer queries concerning transit information.

• Handle diverse and challenging situations.

* M; P) ^+ k: I, b) _• Grade eleven (11) or an equivalent educational level is required. Formal training in driving or public relations will be considered an asset.1 ?, S& b1 n7 }* K: d3 R
• Proven ability to deal directly with the public, with well-developed customer service skills; the ability
; S9 W: O5 E8 e* Q9 ^0 gto be diplomatic and courteous in dealing with the public, from the first passenger to the last passenger

• Applicant must possess a valid class 5 Alberta Motor Vehicle Operator's license (non-probationary and non-graduated) and must have held a valid operator's license for (3) consecutive years.6 l7 C5 X+ U3 ]$ P
• Selected applicants must pass the Alberta Motor Vehicle Operator's class 2 written test, at their own expense, prior to training.

showing no suspensions and no more than 3 demerits recorded over the previous 2 year period.

video-test, a Functional Abilities Recruitment Evaluation (F.A.R.E.) test, a pre-employment City medical examination and a Police Security clearance (at their own expense, prior to training).' z, S" ?# M% v2 G1 {. v
• Successful completion of the ETS Training Program.

1 O( d3 J/ f: H7 b$ X& [$ ^2 C0 HVarious hours of shift work (straight or split shift), any time of the day, any 5 days of the week
t+ `# y) ~; v9 E/ s1 k1st year: Guaranteed minimum 67.4 hours bi-weekly; O, m4 r7 t0 R. P9 v
Thereafter: Guaranteed minimum 74 hours biweekly
