Be Your Own Busker (ATB Big Top): Work with creative people who will teach patrons to juggle and
) k8 G: K1 b8 i) T+ q2 g1 i xwork the Diablo, play in a band and lots of other fun stuff. Duties include, helping at artist circles, craft
- r% Y1 |7 I: ?2 |# x G0 }3 f! y- b5 ]prep, door person, stagehand, and clean up.6 N- [ m2 T, D
Chalk Chics: Festival goers will be asked to participate in chalk drawings. Volunteers will be helping the& G: \* i0 \/ h$ V) ] d6 P' V; D
artist by providing whatever support is needed for this activity. More details to come.( ^; ]" _, E$ S" z5 t P4 M7 h* T/ [8 w
Environment: We need lots of volunteers to help ensure that the Square is kept looking beautiful for
' i- n8 o2 X6 J3 S3 L7 ^- b2 @visitors to the festival. We provide equipment and materials to help you dispose of garbage and sort the
' Y: H$ ]; [! _- L, Y+ a5 Trecyclables.2 d2 S) U" m1 ^& R5 Y
Front of House: If you are well organized, like people, and can handle line up control and questions, be
5 y! n( O- u& X3 _) kpart of the door crew for our three indoor theatre events. You must be able to work late into the evening.
* j( o( D& t I/ @. F3 KHospitality: The volunteers are off site in the host hotel looking after our artists and guests by providing' K3 _% K. l4 B H& t2 V
them with delicious meals, snacks and beverages in the Hospitality Suite. Some heavy lifting and late& Y% X+ _! C& g) W
hours are part of this crew’s duties.
/ ]3 E3 K/ `& b+ hInformation: Inside the Info trailer, volunteers on this crew know everything there is to know about the
, |( t2 a3 a0 d' _2 y+ c3 Afestival - who, what, when where and how is their business. They also sell merchandise and provide
7 j% H; u5 _( |/ Q9 z' k5 Nprograms to visitors to the festival.
$ h+ U/ ]& j9 U7 J n- `Kids’ World: Enjoy some time entertaining the wee folks. Activities and games will be provided for: ]+ H; h( i% g% m8 t1 @
everyone coming to this area. Help our creative coordinators make this place an enjoyable experience.; `. \& k& ?6 l
Office: Duties will include answering telephone inquiries about the festival, selling seats to the ticketed
# p- n$ }6 @1 ]# P3 ], j5 }# ]events and general office duties. Volunteers must have a good telephone manner and knowledge of the( w/ \& N4 [; G' Z7 Y
festival. d0 K+ V. k2 v- } ]/ g
Site: Volunteers will help our Production manager and his assistant make sure all that the physical site is
; n9 I5 }5 o& z* D, }9 Foperating smoothly. From erecting tents to flying banners and putting up fencing, it is important that you
! t! y& X6 B! G }are physically fit and ready for any emergency.: X* ?. C: j- q/ T# o7 ]
Stage: All volunteers who are helping with any theatrical productions must have some previous training X3 ?+ R+ P2 ~% \5 F& p" J! p
and/or understanding of back stage procedures.
$ }( Z2 `2 |: d) m3 X# |$ u( BTransportation: Volunteers 25 years of age with a clean driving license, (driver’s abstract will be
% U2 _+ b" w7 V. ]required), will be asked to drive artists to and from various performance locations in the city as well as4 E# d* @# }: |. D4 Q
airport arrivals and departures. Other duties include day to day pick ups and deliveries that the festival
5 t4 [' q. v* [6 ?# ^; zstaff and artists may require. A good knowledge of the city is required. |
