theatre, U of Alberta, Jul. 21, Sat. at 1-4 pm.  The casts are led by 2
4 V. B% b! v( O/ O- D4 [; h, U
* M8 i) ~$ ]3 d# ~3 X  finstructors - Lau Wai Ming and Fong Suet Ying, both are Champions of
the
. r' |# |  T. H7 [0 D9 r8 @! Q: r- KCantonse Opera Contest in Hong Kong and was awarded outstanding
Achievements
: q' Q4 D- Z3 {9 d2 e$ ?5 Uin Arts Education in the teacher category by the Hong Kong Arts
Development
6 }$ v& K4 b+ J" |  ?& a3 p5 C  xCouncil.  Children cast members are ranging from 6 - 15 years old.  The

1 W, @' w! p; A9 {6 s8 aperformance will be done in English with Chinese operatic music; plus a
9 a. E+ \: G6 _! B$ I( j1 J: ]few
+ J5 v* a4 ]. t# osongs in well-known Cantonese Opera... The performance was done to
sold-out
( ~7 H" ?7 b: u/ J' {4 d8 bcrowds in various Hong Kong venues and received rave review from the
! N9 P0 b& C5 k' @, DHong Kong
