The Asian Chinese Opera Association and the Hong Kong SingFai Opera

SUB
theatre, U of Alberta, Jul. 21, Sat. at 1-4 pm.  The casts are led by 2

, F+ N' m$ ?8 Linstructors - Lau Wai Ming and Fong Suet Ying, both are Champions of
the
, J2 U$ e) Y+ W( A1 jCantonse Opera Contest in Hong Kong and was awarded outstanding
Achievements
$ X* e4 H! e# _! d" `# J4 x# Oin Arts Education in the teacher category by the Hong Kong Arts
& }0 |4 U0 }5 X6 Q% f! GDevelopment
8 J0 Q6 s, F4 \2 P1 B9 X4 ~Council.  Children cast members are ranging from 6 - 15 years old.  The
# b3 I4 J- j+ c$ D: W& r/ O" j
performance will be done in English with Chinese operatic music; plus a
few
songs in well-known Cantonese Opera... The performance was done to
sold-out
8 _9 T- i/ z* k: k) P% icrowds in various Hong Kong venues and received rave review from the
