Food Service Worker I - RATT

JOB SUMMARY:  The Food Service Worker I is responsible to the Senior  
Operations Manager-Food Services and Operations Manager-RATT.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES;

  q: x, t5 z2 \! U8 l$ n1) Assist with Food preparation and cooking as required.

2) Cleanliness of all areas and supplies and equipment.
' W3 n- C1 u5 K
3) To follow the health and food safety standards as set out by  
Capital Health and the U of A Students´ Union.

1 D, f# [' V' ]4) Monitor food product levels, order, receive and store food  
7 B! l3 |; j1 Z- rdeliveries.
1 F# j3 F. q6 S8 D' v
5) Assist with monthly food inventory.
2 Y6 `) A8 n! m% O0 O
6) Capable and willing to work in all areas and able to work rotating  
shifts within Powerplant operating hours.

7) To perform other related duties as directed by the Operations  
6 B1 Z' j5 y5 t# A; v1 HManager.

QUALIFICATIONS;
8 Y+ b9 V' m' {3 C
1) Thorough knowledge of food handling and storage techniques.

# Q1 r# F! u; H2) Previous experience with food inventories.
5 l" ^. `5 I' C  N" v4 F+ ]
4) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

5) Good public and staff relations.

Wage: $8.96/hr (under negotiation) + gratuities + 50% discount on  
meals purchased for shift breaks
