JOB SUMMARY:  The Food Service Worker I is responsible to the Senior  
Operations Manager-Food Services and Operations Manager-RATT.

, ]6 t( w" k$ `DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES;

1 ~- H9 [5 X) ~+ y* z4 p1) Assist with Food preparation and cooking as required.

2) Cleanliness of all areas and supplies and equipment.
$ G% A" u5 |0 u; O
2 U- z# Q1 w- M% V2 A$ {3) To follow the health and food safety standards as set out by  
Capital Health and the U of A Students´ Union.

3 v' ?: ^1 N# h( K2 g" F, n7 Y4) Monitor food product levels, order, receive and store food  
deliveries.
+ x2 _% o' \/ `2 f' B
5) Assist with monthly food inventory.
: M( j1 W6 x  f/ Q, |' |" W' [1 Y
6) Capable and willing to work in all areas and able to work rotating  
8 t8 {; A3 {) U2 r" V2 K3 U' Wshifts within Powerplant operating hours.

7 p9 K# t/ M: I0 O; O) W6 y) e# c7) To perform other related duties as directed by the Operations  
( Y' q. _# U: xManager.

QUALIFICATIONS;
- U2 Y$ ~; ^& Z# B" n
4 ?+ ?0 Y& E& \: P. X1) Thorough knowledge of food handling and storage techniques.

2) Previous experience with food inventories.

$ e; ~& g: Q+ ]% n) S4) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

5) Good public and staff relations.

August 21st 2006/Union Position

Wage: $8.96/hr (under negotiation) + gratuities + 50% discount on
