JOB SUMMARY:  The Food Service Worker I is responsible to the Senior  
Operations Manager-Food Services and Operations Manager-RATT.

! Z: z# v' ^3 R7 m: KDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES;
4 o# k- a1 M/ J: |- ~# @  s1 I2 ]! T
# N; g: @. y8 ]( J% B/ C1) Assist with Food preparation and cooking as required.

# q! E6 G" V' p5 ^2) Cleanliness of all areas and supplies and equipment.

3) To follow the health and food safety standards as set out by  
Capital Health and the U of A Students´ Union.

5 J% T% ^, c$ _) M3 r0 ^3 g0 Q4) Monitor food product levels, order, receive and store food  
deliveries.

# ?- g. A# T  l8 U+ Q5 e! Y& a5) Assist with monthly food inventory.

+ P. g+ z: Y8 N8 d& c6) Capable and willing to work in all areas and able to work rotating  
$ D  h" I# T3 J9 w8 W$ i! O. Z, Ishifts within Powerplant operating hours.

* l/ l; K. P6 D, W9 a7) To perform other related duties as directed by the Operations  
Manager.

% B' S+ b) Z4 v& VQUALIFICATIONS;
% ^$ ~, C9 O8 s+ h  Y5 H
1) Thorough knowledge of food handling and storage techniques.
" v" M0 M- }: _  H7 n
2) Previous experience with food inventories.
, ?  r" k- W! d" B, R$ q5 H: |" R
/ V' t" o* ~/ B3 S+ D4) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

5) Good public and staff relations.

) Z% \: ]1 C6 F# R: VAugust 21st 2006/Union Position

Wage: $8.96/hr (under negotiation) + gratuities + 50% discount on  
meals purchased for shift breaks
