JOB SUMMARY:  The Food Service Worker I is responsible to the Senior  
& ]2 O0 J9 j% f2 ^: ~5 yOperations Manager-Food Services and Operations Manager-RATT.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES;
9 P. X7 l. A& H9 C) S. g1 O
4 i& d. I/ `9 K) s1 c" ]7 }& H, R1) Assist with Food preparation and cooking as required.
& {2 Z; Q! _/ L5 Z1 `" G+ N4 }
% Z9 B" Y6 [& Y  Y% [2) Cleanliness of all areas and supplies and equipment.

3) To follow the health and food safety standards as set out by  
7 ?& m) |3 n# C, U% S; x" F; V! f' FCapital Health and the U of A Students´ Union.
2 U, @# ~+ {* Q( m' p. ], ~
4) Monitor food product levels, order, receive and store food  
deliveries.

/ ^% n' |$ q) z8 e2 t- |2 [5) Assist with monthly food inventory.
; `! w% s  y" h! L
6) Capable and willing to work in all areas and able to work rotating  
8 n3 k. b# B6 R. q) R; fshifts within Powerplant operating hours.

* D) |; r7 ~9 i4 {; G7) To perform other related duties as directed by the Operations  
Manager.

& O; e; i1 t, Y% eQUALIFICATIONS;

1 p) i* t5 ~% G2 I1) Thorough knowledge of food handling and storage techniques.

2) Previous experience with food inventories.

5 T9 b: A, q3 `4) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.
& X* O+ d" V1 f
7 V% y% e4 T  R* b" d, P5) Good public and staff relations.

August 21st 2006/Union Position

Wage: $8.96/hr (under negotiation) + gratuities + 50% discount on  
meals purchased for shift breaks
