JOB SUMMARY:  The Food Service Worker I is responsible to the Senior  
; a3 Z! h3 H; G+ ~- ^Operations Manager-Food Services and Operations Manager-RATT.

9 f3 i( D+ o/ v: |4 pDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES;

1) Assist with Food preparation and cooking as required.
3 }, ]! m) F4 ]; c- B* n/ X
$ G0 v. Y* y" u/ ]8 ]3 X+ \2) Cleanliness of all areas and supplies and equipment.
$ [9 d  `+ B8 _% ]9 ]
+ R  w' |& ?. L0 |0 q4 W3) To follow the health and food safety standards as set out by  
Capital Health and the U of A Students´ Union.

8 Q9 h  `$ k6 V7 I& K% |" u4) Monitor food product levels, order, receive and store food  
, T" F1 O9 ^* v/ s6 G# W9 n$ A2 ndeliveries.

5) Assist with monthly food inventory.

6) Capable and willing to work in all areas and able to work rotating  
7 J& y. u, U. ^8 Sshifts within Powerplant operating hours.
+ G. S2 s0 ^5 w) i) M* Y
& x+ X$ X# o' E7) To perform other related duties as directed by the Operations  
Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS;

1) Thorough knowledge of food handling and storage techniques.
( P& U& p/ i6 ~# D( R. X. b
3 R: F! R8 v7 Y1 {9 }, Q2) Previous experience with food inventories.
! _* A+ F9 K3 }. g6 ~6 h1 f0 x
$ l1 O% ?, W9 ~6 y- G; l* H" l6 }4) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

5) Good public and staff relations.

August 21st 2006/Union Position

Wage: $8.96/hr (under negotiation) + gratuities + 50% discount on  
/ J8 P1 i' n; ?! y/ `meals purchased for shift breaks

Shift: Friday Lunches 11:30am-3pm
