5 l" w  L+ l* y, Y: Q: N! {JOB SUMMARY:  The Food Service Worker I is responsible to the Senior  
Operations Manager-Food Services and Operations Manager-RATT.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES;
+ C9 M3 y8 s% p! k$ ]
1) Assist with Food preparation and cooking as required.

7 Q; B. z8 h% j, |1 W2) Cleanliness of all areas and supplies and equipment.

: H% J( n8 l/ \  ]+ D$ g; W3) To follow the health and food safety standards as set out by  
0 e9 D& ?; y/ NCapital Health and the U of A Students´ Union.
4 y* S! G: {0 }+ k# X, v
& E" S: l) \- T/ }& |0 b6 R4) Monitor food product levels, order, receive and store food  
- f& [( V( Q) @deliveries.
  ]$ L  o, d5 y7 L2 n
9 c. l  j* |% w5) Assist with monthly food inventory.
  C; T, @9 G3 ^: G' @2 p" L6 J6 N$ ]
! t: D. `1 B7 S5 S( r! f5 g6 s6) Capable and willing to work in all areas and able to work rotating  
! S6 J2 p6 \9 @) L4 Rshifts within Powerplant operating hours.

7) To perform other related duties as directed by the Operations  
Manager.

/ b0 ^$ ]4 o3 ^6 uQUALIFICATIONS;
) }& @; o! u$ F' }9 }( M& v
1) Thorough knowledge of food handling and storage techniques.

8 k$ j3 G. e; E8 z2) Previous experience with food inventories.

2 f7 B7 A% ?5 L( m, W, y& b: f5 D9 X9 Y4) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

5) Good public and staff relations.

August 21st 2006/Union Position

Wage: $8.96/hr (under negotiation) + gratuities + 50% discount on  
meals purchased for shift breaks

Shift: Friday Lunches 11:30am-3pm
