- B/ Y. a' e8 W/ p( {JOB SUMMARY:  The Food Service Worker I is responsible to the Senior  
Operations Manager-Food Services and Operations Manager-RATT.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES;

1) Assist with Food preparation and cooking as required.
( {6 Y. k" M* B: j& P
5 W% B( ^1 E/ a0 `6 Y2) Cleanliness of all areas and supplies and equipment.
6 L2 J. Q4 b+ c# f9 m: V! Q
- f" n# r# F  W# R% i+ c# }0 ^% E3) To follow the health and food safety standards as set out by  
Capital Health and the U of A Students´ Union.

4) Monitor food product levels, order, receive and store food  
  [4 `& f$ _* i0 J7 _' w0 Y7 Sdeliveries.
) }+ F: r  E2 L1 y! z6 u* q3 k! {% _+ V
: i& o4 _  K/ D4 G  V; g5) Assist with monthly food inventory.

9 h  M) ^; b! G) \, H5 E$ W* }6) Capable and willing to work in all areas and able to work rotating  
shifts within Powerplant operating hours.

& |3 J' N% o, K8 Z2 TQUALIFICATIONS;

1) Thorough knowledge of food handling and storage techniques.
, O2 O  K# o" g- }% N# o9 Q* U
  K  o2 [( C5 K2) Previous experience with food inventories.
+ F- x3 ?/ A* K$ ^7 s4 O. ~
4) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.
' O0 b' g9 v& V3 v
5) Good public and staff relations.

August 21st 2006/Union Position

Wage: $8.96/hr (under negotiation) + gratuities + 50% discount on  
meals purchased for shift breaks
