JOB SUMMARY:  The Food Service Worker I is responsible to the Senior  
7 Y# Q# O4 _9 C. i# eOperations Manager-Food Services and Operations Manager-RATT.

0 U' S. i6 c3 E! jDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES;
" G/ C9 L; e( A7 e4 o8 H
1) Assist with Food preparation and cooking as required.
$ U( {9 t  q; o/ I, A" c
6 Z9 d) S( _! u) u2) Cleanliness of all areas and supplies and equipment.
9 d% G) b, D1 M
. y# f8 m; c- T2 D& @, G3 N3) To follow the health and food safety standards as set out by  
Capital Health and the U of A Students´ Union.

* d2 m$ M- [7 q+ H4) Monitor food product levels, order, receive and store food  
+ E6 L# ?0 [- N, c( |deliveries.

5) Assist with monthly food inventory.

, ]1 n+ U6 N* b" ]6) Capable and willing to work in all areas and able to work rotating  
( @2 W+ ?9 E" h  ?shifts within Powerplant operating hours.
( b; ?# T/ P' r9 J% p" ^
" V1 ]- A- A- Q; x7) To perform other related duties as directed by the Operations  
Manager.

/ e$ E4 `* Y  ]; `& k0 k# q# ]QUALIFICATIONS;

4 l+ H% _' t2 \* V$ J: r1 O) \7 _% p; w1) Thorough knowledge of food handling and storage techniques.

4 l+ T+ v( Z. j3 }2) Previous experience with food inventories.

4) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.
! }# N7 Z$ l; ^; f" m7 S& w1 k
5) Good public and staff relations.
# Q6 t. I$ W& _: F# K# q! q
* E/ [( Z4 o5 X8 _: s( hAugust 21st 2006/Union Position
