JOB SUMMARY:  The Food Service Worker I is responsible to the Senior  
$ Q: K. n( \& `+ T$ vOperations Manager-Food Services and Operations Manager-RATT.

" k" P- m2 W0 ~* L5 Z% R/ I6 FDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES;

1) Assist with Food preparation and cooking as required.
) U. a! @+ \3 V( Z
9 z  g4 O( K! q! E" y$ K: s4 L. ]2) Cleanliness of all areas and supplies and equipment.

: q# W+ j! L; A9 e2 L3) To follow the health and food safety standards as set out by  
9 O  d! k- B8 m/ mCapital Health and the U of A Students´ Union.

4) Monitor food product levels, order, receive and store food  
deliveries.
' I' t) |( W/ ~: @3 b3 ]9 Q" D1 g
% o. B1 H) f* x& Z* u* R5) Assist with monthly food inventory.

6) Capable and willing to work in all areas and able to work rotating  
shifts within Powerplant operating hours.

5 n* t7 a& s( J: r7) To perform other related duties as directed by the Operations  
' K1 u" f5 _% A; c! h* L3 G4 x- w  p& qManager.

& ^  }% ^6 j6 [. dQUALIFICATIONS;
& w7 z* K- g( x( k2 S
. K' ]$ A1 F1 D! ^; s( T  T% }8 S1) Thorough knowledge of food handling and storage techniques.

% L3 o$ U  E3 p1 L2 x" d2) Previous experience with food inventories.
& _7 Z: t# o4 e
4) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.
7 h, z% F1 N  M. h$ N7 R, r
8 L& E# U: h! Q. v$ u! d& N5) Good public and staff relations.

August 21st 2006/Union Position

Wage: $8.96/hr (under negotiation) + gratuities + 50% discount on  
meals purchased for shift breaks
