Operating Assistant-SUBtitles (Permanent and Fulltime)

JOB SUMMARY:  Reporting to and under the supervision of the Senior  
4 m' a8 b# G5 o! O, \5 vOperations Manager-Retail and the Operations Manager-Retail, the  
6 w3 \- `6 `- O1 G/ r1 n/ Vfulltime Operating Assistant-SUBtitles is responsible for the  
% g7 \5 v' A: K7 ^  veffective operation of SUBtitles in the absence of the manager(s).

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
5 X3 a9 x) b" G$ z1)             Responsible for assisting the Operations Manager-
Retail in the training of part time staff

. c# h/ E. `& c; ?1 y( G' Z1 K& R2)             Responsible for supervising part time staff and  
ensuring that staff are fulfilling job requirements

3)             Responsible for assisting the Operations Manager-
Retail with cashing out and ensuring that floats are secured

  d$ }) a, F* S* e4)             Capable and willing to work in all areas while working  
various shifts as per store hours

7 C3 u- t8 C* E( T' d5)             Responsible for determining needs and finalizing  
orders for external custom order clients
) \( T( s, F/ b+ ^! q: k
8 U. T. [# _1 a0 U6)             Responsible for the accuracy of month end inventory  
counts

  E( K$ v. B: o7 U7)             Provide a high level of customer service

# c! u' G4 X: b$ m( N8)             Responsible for ensuring that databases are kept up to  
5 D- L+ e: g% V+ k. N7 Qdate with regards to consignment data

: ?: C0 T) k0 D9)             Perform other job related duties, in SUBtitles and  
SUBmart, as required by the Senior Operations Manager-Retail and the  
9 D& ^& b8 S4 c3 B+ _5 K; iOperations Manager-Retail

QUALIFICATIONS;
! ^# `  x3 W' j- v1)             Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent
  {6 k* B/ J2 h# P, N
$ q4 L+ }% e. t7 i7 R3 e* P2)             Post secondary education would be an asset
2 @8 r2 o+ t2 M
* H+ p/ N0 m+ N" X- R  ~3)             Previous supervisory experience would be an asset
  t) h6 v4 E; i4 R8 ^
/ p3 w9 c0 _( n3 g, R, z4)             Strong organizational skills

5)             High level of creativity, initiative and attention to

8)             Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and  
the general public
