Food Service Worker II - Food Services

JOB SUMMARY:  The Food Service Worker II responsible to the Senior  
Operations Manager-Food Services and Operating Assistant and will  
assist in all areas for maximum service to patrons.

* I* p6 B4 g6 I; s+ MDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES;
1 y% y$ N9 `& N; w3 O; `/ O1)              Assist with all aspects of food preparation, display  
food in an attractive & appetizing manner, and clean in the kitchen  
7 K5 N1 o1 O% ?( B8 qarea.

2) Provide excellent customer service to student, staff and public  
clients, in a professional and friendly manner at all times.
7 ~+ N- s9 o0 y. S7 M+ R
3)              Follow proper food handling and storage techniques as  
per Capital Health standards.

) h* G6 Q. x; `# X4)              Capable and willing to work in all areas and able to  
$ ~9 K' Z4 i: ^& P! Dwork rotating shifts within the  Students´ Union Food Services  
; b6 a) A1 {3 p' w$ r# koperating hours.

8 Z# @  X, I9 h4 m5) Serve as cashier when required.

6) To perform other related duties as directed by the Senior  
Operations Manager-Food Services and Operating Assistant.

QUALIFICATIONS;
1) Minimum one year in the food industry.  Thorough knowledge of safe  
" v6 c2 P6 C; o  l- o3 X# ifood handling and storage techniques.
) g3 }' y/ j% X; I0 m7 V/ ?* X
2)              Some cooking/baking experience.
& U$ Y8 z1 t4 q& W
3) Cashier experience.
  i  }2 o! r# z  a& F  d, u) p1 _
! m$ v/ ?6 _7 b: U/ G$ s8 s4) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.
( w, _9 }# x0 q
6 Q6 d( ^% k* c$ ]* f5) Excellent customer service skills and staff relations abilities.

6) Completion of Grade XII (Alberta) or equivalent.
