% Z; y$ A( f) S% Y4 VJOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
) K. p# `3 H) }& }4 x7 H(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
' B/ f  f: b0 _$ f! s2 y5 rpolicies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
and are University affiliated.

. J, y+ |. T' O2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.

3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
of garbage.

. }% r, g+ ?+ U2 M# c) i$ N. _4 \4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
consumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
area when required.

$ ?( p, ]% s% g% }$ h: c6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations  
Manager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

7 ^0 c+ F4 l" X  [9 lQUALIFICATIONS;
1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

* D* g* u. n# _. b2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
of patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
calmly under extremely stressful conditions.
) s( v$ ?; s7 S: G& v+ u7 g
3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.
* B& S; i7 S7 g+ U- f! }$ ^+ N
4) Must be physically capable.
! y3 i2 U# p5 a/ T$ T9 F; \4 Q
5) Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and the general  
public.
