DOORPERSON (RATT)

JOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
+ h9 I2 V+ ^( g" Y+ E# Z7 i(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
' }1 E; g6 J, {* Spolicies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
7 ^% ]) q7 ~& I6 @; O) {and are University affiliated.

2 ?3 r3 [; l! d! D! n2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.

+ k$ R7 p1 K/ E% ~9 k2 A3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
of garbage.
! |/ }5 x% j( s
4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
consumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
1 Q/ s; s5 v/ d1 d0 j% `3 harea when required.

. L, F6 r" j  ?6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations  
& B: Q, ^  b. a4 D; _# N( i8 Y) SManager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS;
1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

' P! z- i  P/ f& i2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
  |1 z+ d6 c% [( y  Oof patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
" m5 e! W- n( Tcalmly under extremely stressful conditions.

# f$ _7 i( S9 u% w3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

4) Must be physically capable.

5) Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and the general

Wage: $7.73/hour + gratuities

Shift: 6 - 12 hours per week, 7pm - 1am Fridays and Saturdays
