, R' ]8 k' A/ \1 c; j& g3 X# V+ PJOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
& z: o# \$ i# xpolicies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

* e  c5 |& v) ~9 Y! lDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
3 {" j  E" G4 ]. Y% Sand are University affiliated.

3 b' R  W: C: p* ]0 G2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.
! _* |4 K; m, m+ m( |3 y* @
3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
" I% A& r7 I. \/ B+ v# P/ tof garbage.
- j4 J* m0 G5 ]  p) b4 S; k- N/ E8 K
% O9 X/ T- Y! z8 F4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
9 t3 {- Y' K# I, y" J$ C" R2 H  Xconsumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

! N% J+ L- l& j. F5 F5 q5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
" G& I* U' C: e! \area when required.
$ Z6 Z  F* f( F
4 N" h4 z' E% ]3 Q6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations  
/ ?  A) C+ h) nManager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

6 G/ w2 \) Z. y' G7 `1 dQUALIFICATIONS;
1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

# V% a$ `: M, K2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
of patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
calmly under extremely stressful conditions.

3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

9 Q+ Q2 D$ `) W4) Must be physically capable.

5) Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and the general  
public.
