KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

! I' E; P" X/ O7 o7 E1.        Serve as a key business and licensing role within a cross-functional team for identification, evaluation and licensing of strategically important technologies.  
1 \3 f& n. h" B. m* ?( r- |% O2.        Manage technology alliance activities, including the coordination of appropriate agreements’ execution, alliance negotiations, and post-deal compliance in China.  
2 ^6 R  g$ `3 q2 I! H1 _3.        Develop business plan and strategy to integrate new technology into existing global research and business platforms.

4 C  C8 z  S) L! g# x& x! Y0 DPERSONAL ATTRIBUTES AND COMPETENCIES:

1.        MBA and/or advanced scientific degree in agricultural biotechnology related fields (such as plant molecular, cellular and developmental biology, genomics, and plant genetics, bioinformatics, etc.) are highly desirable.  
! u+ _4 j, D2 M! w* b9 p: u2.        Proven experience in technology identification and licensing within China, or equivalent experience with biotechnology research and commercial licensing agreements is preferred.
* L  K3 o) L/ W, x- Q+ ^, S/ k3.        Working knowledge of Intellectual Property policies, including Chinese and international patent regulations and procedures would be advantageous.  
% ^: i7 h1 M  D4.        Productive business and scientific interactions and good relationships with major biotechnology institutes in China would be advantageous.
5.        Able to work independently as well as cooperatively in a cross-functional and multi-cultural environment.  
6.        Strong written and spoken communication skills in both English and Chinese.
