The University of Alberta - Department of Chemical and Materials
Engineering - are currently recruiting for the position of Summer
Position Trace Element Emissions Control - Job No. 9411.

Salary to be paid will be $12.50 per hour for 40 hours per week.

Employment will be from May 16 to August 30.

Duties include: integrating with a multifaceted research program geared
at mercury and trace elements emissions control; maintaining a
- s2 K1 e4 ~! c! t' Llaboratory book; communicating problems and implementing solutions
effectively with assigned lab supervisor; and flexibility to interact
with a number of ongoing projects. The successful candidate will develop
& f* T! Y) e$ q5 R  W+ g3 askills in analytical techniques, fundamental and applied research in a
supportive environment. Possible interaction with full-scale testing of
novel materials and inter-departmental facilities.

No previous experience necessary; ability to work with people, work
0 M3 X6 t# \- [7 V6 b# bsafely and learn new skills in a laboratory environment; interest in
environmental emissions controls for industry.

demonstrated relevant program interests.
