- are currently recruiting for the full time summer position of Urban
Geography Research Assistant.

: n3 \+ Y! k! x" U& g1 S; NSalary to be paid will be $15.00 per hour for 30 hours per week.

% x- s0 V( z: g8 `2 d* b0 DThis position is for 10 weeks total.

8 q+ y) h0 k) f# h4 b1 {As an urban geography research assistant, you will be working on a
, [0 m2 H' g+ e7 V8 f4 m# _funded project to examine changes in access to healthy food in Edmonton
between 1970 and present. Duties include searching electronic databases,
undertaking land title searches, manipulating databases and spreadsheets
1 ]5 N* v- z( C! l: H9 U  yand GIS analysis and mapping.
: x! a" b* Z; `3 J, R! t9 e
6 c0 t% n* x5 X' L! ?Qualifications include an interest in urban geography, secondary
: w, K) \4 J  m* f6 P; x( hliterature search proficiency, general research experience and GIS
  F* B: }0 P9 p, o0 zskills.
