" B6 v4 d  U/ ^: d3 HHours per week will be 20 - 30 - 20 during the first few weeks, then 30
) _* Q6 d& j3 a( |" @7 f: y- 35 per week during the busy period. There may be an opportunity for
3 _+ D1 l1 [1 i8 ]; W. @7 |+ sthe student to stay on a casual basis (10 - 20 hours per week) once the
. j; B/ C0 u. l% U( sschool year starts.

# m  F, r$ \9 N6 A- XDuties include: preparing for programs by working with current staff at
* d8 B) ~& A+ o4 X) B; MCIBS to secure and schedule various program requirements (off-campus
/ }% J% e. f$ T# C/ Uvenues, tour agents, goods and services, program materials and supplies,
etc.); reproducing and distributing documents and correspondence for
participants, assisting to orient participants to the University and
their program on their arrival, and trouble-shooting for them during
6 V' a) V8 x5 i8 B0 q& Rtheir program; booking program venues, setting up for sessions,
assisting visiting speakers or invited session presenters, striking
venue at end of session; traveling as guide with groups on in-city
outings or site visits, or, occasionally, on overnight out-of-city
excursions (does not involve driving or overnight week night
excursions); interpreting (non-technical exchanges) at meetings or

such as schedules, itineraries, notices, correspondence, PowerPoint

5 n5 M7 v) W$ k0 p/ a8 gQualifications include: senior undergrad student; coursework in
Commerce, Education or Economics preferred, ability to communicate
' U. Y) `: X: Y  U7 t7 [1 z- dfluently (oral and written) in English and Mandarin Chinese,
1 z$ f% R# ~! tdemonstrates a high-level of self organization, initiative to undertake
a variety of tasks; ability to coordinate individual efforts with those
of co-workers, excellent interpersonal organization and time-management
skills; accuracy to detail; working knowledge of MS applications (Word,
! @8 N; ]9 Q6 {Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook); administrative experience an asset,
experience coordinating group activities an asset.
