. C$ C4 u9 n+ E, X! l; W* q$ KSalary to be paid will be $14.00 per hour (includes vacation pay, stat
pay, student premium, and second language augmentation)

  A) o  C4 b# l! S4 R' w7 v0 iHours per week will be 20 - 30 - 20 during the first few weeks, then 30
- 35 per week during the busy period. There may be an opportunity for
the student to stay on a casual basis (10 - 20 hours per week) once the
school year starts.

: \' s' a$ ]% @# y! mDuties include: preparing for programs by working with current staff at
+ n  A( z7 k/ M, LCIBS to secure and schedule various program requirements (off-campus
venues, tour agents, goods and services, program materials and supplies,
etc.); reproducing and distributing documents and correspondence for
# m1 G+ E  ~( C/ G% W; H: \participants, assisting to orient participants to the University and
their program on their arrival, and trouble-shooting for them during
their program; booking program venues, setting up for sessions,
assisting visiting speakers or invited session presenters, striking
. [" h& Q: Z- a  C( `$ _+ Lvenue at end of session; traveling as guide with groups on in-city
outings or site visits, or, occasionally, on overnight out-of-city
excursions (does not involve driving or overnight week night
8 `* O) P/ t: Q$ ~8 k' P  w0 vexcursions); interpreting (non-technical exchanges) at meetings or
functions; translating, revising or drafting program-related documents
such as schedules, itineraries, notices, correspondence, PowerPoint
8 ~# _9 m/ a' f6 j4 G& W7 G2 rpresentations, program binders, evaluation forms, etc.

Qualifications include: senior undergrad student; coursework in
/ C/ X% ~- n0 C/ @: l( s- qCommerce, Education or Economics preferred, ability to communicate
fluently (oral and written) in English and Mandarin Chinese,
demonstrates a high-level of self organization, initiative to undertake
a variety of tasks; ability to coordinate individual efforts with those
of co-workers, excellent interpersonal organization and time-management
skills; accuracy to detail; working knowledge of MS applications (Word,
: _$ n5 V7 U0 ~$ b# YExcel, PowerPoint and Outlook); administrative experience an asset,
) w+ X$ z. n5 O7 C' O4 Fexperience coordinating group activities an asset.
