Hours per week will be 20 - 30 - 20 during the first few weeks, then 30

CIBS to secure and schedule various program requirements (off-campus9 y: |8 u2 u% H* t
venues, tour agents, goods and services, program materials and supplies,
# y* Q0 Q3 d1 qetc.); reproducing and distributing documents and correspondence for* j/ N0 `6 z: m& ?9 ]
participants, assisting to orient participants to the University and
E" y# Y' H) z; ?$ Mtheir program on their arrival, and trouble-shooting for them during
- Q `7 n6 G" e8 R) c1 B) h8 {' _their program; booking program venues, setting up for sessions,
+ M- D) V+ z; Eassisting visiting speakers or invited session presenters, striking+ ]% }9 _/ ^4 ^, [
venue at end of session; traveling as guide with groups on in-city
: Z6 H$ F0 @1 T: {4 Eoutings or site visits, or, occasionally, on overnight out-of-city
0 a) z/ p% a5 S0 {/ }7 nexcursions (does not involve driving or overnight week night# V! y8 k. \7 s0 l9 e1 L9 q
excursions); interpreting (non-technical exchanges) at meetings or

such as schedules, itineraries, notices, correspondence, PowerPoint

% M: }8 E$ Y. H: v$ U: \% J' g2 KQualifications include: senior undergrad student; coursework in/ P* O0 `1 O! g% r5 T& s
Commerce, Education or Economics preferred, ability to communicate
5 y6 |; a: J3 P1 nfluently (oral and written) in English and Mandarin Chinese,
7 H( C; d5 k7 n% e. w! bdemonstrates a high-level of self organization, initiative to undertake8 @7 ^7 i& T0 C- ~' |& Z
a variety of tasks; ability to coordinate individual efforts with those
0 |) B/ B/ U% Y- yof co-workers, excellent interpersonal organization and time-management
: z- W0 o. W ^! Gskills; accuracy to detail; working knowledge of MS applications (Word,
