recruiting for the position of Laboratory Technician Assistant - Job No.

- D/ O5 C) M) K/ k4 h6 iSalary to be paid will be $15.00 per hour for a 40 hour week.

- h2 a* ^. @/ `- e1 z8 h- V5 yDuties include: working closely with graduate students and research
. r: Y& l% D$ `) X# F/ ptechnicians, the candidate will work on the synthesis of intermediates
' ]5 D% g7 f) v$ H1 tfor use in chemical and biochemical research. Particular duties will
2 d4 H) N. a* c  b, {  Oinclude carrying out chemical and/or enzymatic reactions and purifying
% G$ \) `# o( z; mcompounds by chromatography.

Qualifications include successful completion of courses in organic
! ?% [1 D6 a% Q3 |0 jChemistry (Chemistry 263 or equivalent) and ideally biochemistry and
analytical chemistry; familiarity with basic biology and chromatographic
separations important. Attention to detail and ability to work as part
( [* ?( B* y4 i+ J5 M+ ], ?of a team essential.
This position will provide the candidate with experience in biochemical
and chemical research and would be ideal for students who ultimately
