. A) H8 ^% L+ W" N5 p; vDuties include: working closely with graduate students and research
& ]4 ]' {" H9 W' U, I3 t5 ktechnicians, the candidate will work on the synthesis of intermediates
7 Z* c# d' {! y$ o1 I  Dfor use in chemical and biochemical research. Particular duties will
include carrying out chemical and/or enzymatic reactions and purifying
' E8 u, K1 j) o' zcompounds by chromatography.
' K% E6 ~# M% _1 l0 C9 r
Qualifications include successful completion of courses in organic
, L  _$ V8 f: ~, V1 pChemistry (Chemistry 263 or equivalent) and ideally biochemistry and
# q4 U. t3 P- ]analytical chemistry; familiarity with basic biology and chromatographic
" H3 k& v+ D' l& D$ ]% Y7 |: Fseparations important. Attention to detail and ability to work as part
9 F/ C2 C6 I; w) Bof a team essential.

! h7 d$ G) W" J* l1 B! q; Fand chemical research and would be ideal for students who ultimately
