Salary to be paid will be $15.00 per hour for a 40 hour week.

Duties include: working closely with graduate students and research
+ S1 g; A2 ^' n7 Ztechnicians, the candidate will work on the synthesis of intermediates
$ O9 l3 W# V9 F6 m1 {for use in chemical and biochemical research. Particular duties will
9 z& p. \- _% O3 D% `& dinclude carrying out chemical and/or enzymatic reactions and purifying
compounds by chromatography.

6 C* k! c0 x; F; r3 b7 o5 p% JQualifications include successful completion of courses in organic
Chemistry (Chemistry 263 or equivalent) and ideally biochemistry and
  W. t, b( Q& Q& o' @analytical chemistry; familiarity with basic biology and chromatographic
+ Y% F8 `, r4 s) \" v. k3 a8 ], {separations important. Attention to detail and ability to work as part
of a team essential.
This position will provide the candidate with experience in biochemical
) t9 A0 B3 z  T+ ~and chemical research and would be ideal for students who ultimately
hope to work in these areas.
