% Q+ K" z I% n/ V# z* X8 HThe Non-ferrous laborer must be able to properly identify and sort non-ferrous metals. Applies knowledge of non-ferrous metals to properly identify materials when interacting with customers. Prepares non-ferrous materials for transport. Both indoor and outdoor, fast-paced setting.+ ~) k( \6 [( _8 A0 H& d

Must be able to sort, process, grade non-ferrous materials
& t+ N. J, @+ R3 A# `2 V* @Inspects material for hazardous waste and grades different types of non-ferrous materials! B; I7 W8 P, H. G ~ t! n& |
Loads and unloads non-ferrous material- k U# S% v% H1 k7 ~1 R
Must be able to work safely at all times
8 v$ U+ O* u/ W! IBe able to effectively perform tasks independently
+ y2 G$ n' Z( V- i' F, a- SPerforms routine housekeeping.
; ^. C, C( K: w" x/ X' E5 W; TObserves and reports any safety issues) G9 ]6 W8 x% F& t( `+ S

Ability to effectively communicate and present information in one-on-one and small group situations to supervisors, maintenance personnel and other employees of the organization- k; |9 P" w) |3 L; |' Y: u& X
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos+ ~& B! A( b* U! c( a
Ability to write simple correspondence
