The Non-ferrous laborer must be able to properly identify and sort non-ferrous metals. Applies knowledge of non-ferrous metals to properly identify materials when interacting with customers. Prepares non-ferrous materials for transport. Both indoor and outdoor, fast-paced setting." r7 q& G1 P/ P( v7 f6 r3 T

Must be able to sort, process, grade non-ferrous materials _$ f( i t- Z# e" {# ?" n
Inspects material for hazardous waste and grades different types of non-ferrous materials
9 |% }& m# r5 o; s3 ELoads and unloads non-ferrous material
* M* r7 r" T; D# z# OMust be able to work safely at all times4 l- y8 n6 ]4 T0 i3 i! {2 x! h
Be able to effectively perform tasks independently

Observes and reports any safety issues( m; O8 n6 B( K

Experience stripping equipment and/or with manual material sorting* I, _1 s9 a U* a4 h, o8 r8 j
Knowledge of non-ferrous processing

Well-articulated and assertive& d& U% e, Y" v# I" w. E
Ability to effectively communicate and present information in one-on-one and small group situations to supervisors, maintenance personnel and other employees of the organization
