The Non-ferrous laborer must be able to properly identify and sort non-ferrous metals. Applies knowledge of non-ferrous metals to properly identify materials when interacting with customers. Prepares non-ferrous materials for transport. Both indoor and outdoor, fast-paced setting.

Monday – Friday 11 am-7 pm

Must be able to sort, process, grade non-ferrous materials
H- L) T% j: N0 eInspects material for hazardous waste and grades different types of non-ferrous materials. f. H% V, g: F9 }, A* \
Loads and unloads non-ferrous material! R/ b& t a: W, D+ \' k
Must be able to work safely at all times
5 b, x; G& T6 u+ |: ^Be able to effectively perform tasks independently6 W4 d% ^' J+ ?, U, Y3 A6 k
Performs routine housekeeping.4 B6 t7 i7 t. \2 D0 x1 u+ n
Observes and reports any safety issues6 Y3 F2 a* M- M% O* E
Other duties may be assigned

Understand and be able to grade all non-ferrous material properly

Knowledge of non-ferrous processing
) E* A* _- x9 K: g$ EHigh school diploma (Or GED)3 a* |' ~ t! t
Well-articulated and assertive( t8 c- k# t. w1 W+ ~
Ability to effectively communicate and present information in one-on-one and small group situations to supervisors, maintenance personnel and other employees of the organization
