2 p' o- @2 u7 i" \& u) s* Cweekend hours.9 T9 @8 ~% h: A, q
You will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of the Research Data Centre (RDC) computer
! ]( X: N, c% w4 ^; D, c; X+ l1 p# `lab located on the University of Alberta campus as well as providing administrative support for the
+ F8 l0 }5 `' kcentre.
# T4 D# M. h# fThese responsibilities include:9 P( E* i' u" Y9 k0 C H* b) U, K5 J y
-Maintain the integrity of the security systems in the RDC.
' \" H/ O; y* D: r! e$ Q! m-Provide basic support to clients on operating Window XP.2 F2 D2 L, O0 V2 l3 l
-Provide general office administration support, such as filing, upgrading software and
7 ?# j: j* p9 [; Irenewing licenses, communicating with various university departments with respect to
+ H" ^1 @: }+ [! n3 \facilities’ maintenance, etc.

Education:
9 H2 j' i% g O-Successful completion of Bachelor degree in administration, business, computer sciences,
) m5 |3 @7 P* `, s Meducation, economics, sociology, statistics or related discipline; or an acceptable combination 5 g6 Y: U- S7 t7 A1 O+ M* Z3 G
of education, training and /or experience. $ E T0 o" o" d. e1 M n$ F) L
Knowledge/Technical competencies:
2 W( u7 K$ z. U4 ~5 |8 H-General knowledge of the Microsoft Window operating system.
) i0 K# _' |1 f8 O-Extensive experience in using Microsoft Window office application software including Word

-Experience using and updating an information database. # Y) D2 D6 r m- H+ Q
