CAC Enterprises Group Inc. is a scrap metal recycling facility that is currently seeking an experienced Class 1 Driver. We have work that takes us to many destinations within the city of Edmonton, (occasionally the province of Alberta) and need a conscientious and safety focused driver to join our team.

6 s+ x/ P; b0 G' V" q. G8 k/ u/ ?" O· Perform pre-trip, post-trip inspections and preventative maintenance checks and paperwork

8 ?3 r' d2 n' J( C, ?" p' Q- a1 _· Connecting and disconnecting trailers

· Record keeping of travel details, repairs and inspections

. S9 w6 k/ ^% h' O· Keep equipment tidy, clean and in good working order

· Running flat decks, step decks, containers and super b’s
" i% p, e# z5 u" y! f
+ f$ q3 E7 V' \7 \7 b$ N7 B" ^· Operate manual and automatic shifts

* p' X3 G0 G2 m9 K- O· Secure loads safely

) t. {% e* @% F3 J· Pick up and deliver containers in an efficient manner
Qualifications and Training Requirements

$ `/ K' l6 z1 t* V3 p3 {7 T· Minimum 3 years experience

9 O1 v3 ~* p3 `8 I· Valid Class 1 license
! r) p; _* C# A# R2 S7 Z8 D
0 N5 Z. t  `4 E; K7 k" l" W9 E· 5 years clean driving record and abstract

) }: z3 l" k; a1 c5 _4 m· Load securement certification
) n" E" d9 |1 c3 l
  Y" B4 A1 A8 t4 A· Familiarity with industry safety rules and regulations

" Z: d, _" \& X· Good communication skills and understanding of English (written and verbal)

/ L+ G9 J6 @/ @6 Y4 l. N* p4 M% f: N· Knowledge of large vehicle maintenance, traffic regulations and a good sense of orientation

· Working in this industry requires patience and respect; sometimes the job takes longer than we would like but always being tolerant is paramount.

· Oversized loads experience is considered an asset
