' s3 @1 |/ Q$ o. Q/ s7 ]2 nAs a Shift Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for the safe and effective operation of the Reclamation and Pond Operations facilities on a shift basis. Other job duties include:* O+ ^7 p' Z% l2 m1 }; k. F
% J' L4 O/ B/ d, e& u/ r- Supervising Shift personnel to ensure reclamation operating targets are achieved. ) z8 T& m; b7 s+ `( s$ {' D t0 m- c0 w
- Developing and implementing programs focused on the optimization and continuous improvement of the operating plants. ! ^5 `6 H2 l+ N+ p% m6 U
- Ensuring effective on-shift training and progression qualification for operators.
8 b# J7 U* m( `* ^9 q- Developing and revising applicable standards and procedures. - h, ]6 @% E; K" ]
- Ensuring a structured approach to managing safety performance and environmental diligence.
$ X7 r: k# E3 y6 v3 p- Ensuring effective communications within the Reclamation Operating Group as well as with other departments, and with other operating groups (Extraction). # I& @9 A. N$ L
- Managing shift expense budgets.

i9 N6 w5 ~( C; h" n- Previous supervisory experience
4 L5 F. x+ z- {( v- Strong leadership skills # E" P, l& F0 e, z& a
- A minimum of grade 12 diploma 4 x9 o$ \& Y) e4 y
- High motivation with good interpersonal, communication, planning and organizational skills ( C4 t% f" s5 u `& W8 O2 i8 V
- Several years experience related to large materials processing plant or dredging operations
- T& E# B: z0 \( W4 N3 R- A good working knowledge of OH & S regulations and thorough understanding of Loss Management techniques.7 Y+ ~0 t# `& R) k. V! K5 }
