$ x6 o; Y% }% B; {. i. _As a Shift Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for the safe and effective operation of the Reclamation and Pond Operations facilities on a shift basis. Other job duties include:

- Supervising Shift personnel to ensure reclamation operating targets are achieved. ) ?1 n- P3 ^$ i. A' @9 E
- Developing and implementing programs focused on the optimization and continuous improvement of the operating plants.
, \+ t( G1 ?9 R3 R/ q9 E- Ensuring effective on-shift training and progression qualification for operators. ' U! k% V9 @* B8 G# w
- Developing and revising applicable standards and procedures. + T$ s7 T! p. c- }: R/ _4 s9 R
- Ensuring a structured approach to managing safety performance and environmental diligence. ) }1 ~" N8 l7 s' b9 a1 l* M& j* I9 n
- Ensuring effective communications within the Reclamation Operating Group as well as with other departments, and with other operating groups (Extraction).

Experience and Education Requirements$ `4 E1 f- P9 m+ B

- Previous supervisory experience 5 l7 }) r3 L5 L. G
- Strong leadership skills ! o8 q7 o& J v- M5 R' U
- A minimum of grade 12 diploma 9 d- I8 t7 B9 l
- High motivation with good interpersonal, communication, planning and organizational skills
. R6 B" S/ q2 R. w' e$ R- r5 }- Several years experience related to large materials processing plant or dredging operations
" P/ {2 s9 q8 W9 @3 R' j- A good working knowledge of OH & S regulations and thorough understanding of Loss Management techniques.( ]* n8 e7 Q) |: [1 y
