诚恳问问各位, 我们想买个duplex 然后地下室装修一房一厅出租, 独立门口进出,请问 可行吗？ 政府知道后会不会捉我们呢

顺带再问问在有水电的情况下, 装修一个500sf的地下室,让其有一房一次,一厨房 一厅大概要多少钱？

从立法上，只有独立屋地下室才可能是 legal basement suite。联排地下室不行。

看zonging ， 如果在建在fourplex zonging上的duplex的地下室并且符合出租的规定是可以合法出租的。

Secondary suites are ONLY allowed within a single detached house, and garden suites are only allowed on a site with a single detached house.

小黄说的对,但也看情况, 比如油价高的时候,我在有城住,那家不把地下室出租,还分组,政府知道也不管.

不能装修成LEGAL SECOUNDARY SUITE,但也可以租人，最多可租三人。
