Canada North Camps Inc. (14238 – 134 Avenue, Edmonton, AB T5L 5V8) is looking to hire a full-time Cook who could be responsible for preparing and serving a wide variety of food items while maintaining a clean and safe work environment adding to an all-around pleasant dining experience for our customers.
Duties:
: @* k6 }7 q' w* f' t+ J- Prepare sandwiches, salad bar and other high quality meals
- Supervise kitchen staff
- Ensure kitchen staff follow company safety practices
8 Y4 G7 _5 R+ Q  {. z  v! U- Plan menus, estimate food costs, order supplies
- Manage kitchen operations
4 S) k6 v$ M* ]8 r. k/ W- i- Maintain acceptable levels of food production
- Work night shifts, as necessary

+ y4 E4 w3 i, U2 d+ i& l6 U2 ~- Completion of college or other program in cooking is mandatory. Associate or Bachelor’s degree in restaurant / hospitality/ culinary arts is considered an asset.
- Minimum 2 years of previous experience as Cook in a fast-paced environment is mandatory.
% D: j3 ?: y' Z; F: X- Good proficiency in English.
- Highly organized.
% a! {" G& R6 r) z8 {This is a contract, full-time position.
  v: P' ?+ ?7 q5 e# M8 MWorking hours: 10 hours per day, 70 hours per week.
