Canada North Camps Inc. (14238 – 134 Avenue, Edmonton, AB T5L 5V8) is looking to hire a full-time Cook who could be responsible for preparing and serving a wide variety of food items while maintaining a clean and safe work environment adding to an all-around pleasant dining experience for our customers.
Duties:
+ F5 {3 j  N5 G- Prepare sandwiches, salad bar and other high quality meals
- Supervise kitchen staff
- Ensure kitchen staff follow company safety practices
- Plan menus, estimate food costs, order supplies
2 v& |- `" O* d3 z3 A5 Q$ d; g- Manage kitchen operations
8 u- n' e- U2 I5 T- Maintain acceptable levels of food production
: o. S( U" M3 x5 B$ P- K# s- Work night shifts, as necessary
5 n; C" {( Y. [$ SRequirements:
- Completion of college or other program in cooking is mandatory. Associate or Bachelor’s degree in restaurant / hospitality/ culinary arts is considered an asset.
+ Q  [4 P# C9 l4 ~2 r- Minimum 2 years of previous experience as Cook in a fast-paced environment is mandatory.
- Good proficiency in English.
- Highly organized.
This is a contract, full-time position.
* q  U. \8 n( H2 iWorking hours: 10 hours per day, 70 hours per week.
2 u! h( B! y$ T: S2 b8 l& ZWorking schedule: 21 days on and 7 days off.
