Canada North Camps Inc. (14238 – 134 Avenue, Edmonton, AB T5L 5V8) is looking to hire a full-time Cook who could be responsible for preparing and serving a wide variety of food items while maintaining a clean and safe work environment adding to an all-around pleasant dining experience for our customers.
! P) ]& ^) o  @Duties:
- Prepare sandwiches, salad bar and other high quality meals
- Supervise kitchen staff
- Ensure kitchen staff follow company safety practices
* L1 W( c  t  s6 `, A" J6 f% X9 ]- Plan menus, estimate food costs, order supplies
# `  ~& J9 g% D: n! K9 t- Manage kitchen operations
- Maintain acceptable levels of food production
! m2 W; l9 F  I  n, j5 r7 t! d9 _- Work night shifts, as necessary
7 ~+ H9 |( Z% P$ Q" d; u/ LRequirements:
- Completion of college or other program in cooking is mandatory. Associate or Bachelor’s degree in restaurant / hospitality/ culinary arts is considered an asset.
- Minimum 2 years of previous experience as Cook in a fast-paced environment is mandatory.

This is a contract, full-time position.
6 g6 O' T& u- Q" k  }' T3 |Working hours: 10 hours per day, 70 hours per week.
1 L$ [% L7 O8 b4 e4 fWorking schedule: 21 days on and 7 days off.
Salary: $160.00 per day. After 3 months of employment, medical, dental, disability and pension plan benefits will be available.
