Canada North Camps Inc. (14238 – 134 Avenue, Edmonton, AB T5L 5V8) is looking to hire a full-time Cook who could be responsible for preparing and serving a wide variety of food items while maintaining a clean and safe work environment adding to an all-around pleasant dining experience for our customers.

% l0 P" D5 I& _0 U3 S- Prepare sandwiches, salad bar and other high quality meals
0 @6 m1 K0 g$ X) M9 M- Supervise kitchen staff
1 ~6 E" N+ [- g' z0 m: \: E- Ensure kitchen staff follow company safety practices
' L; u* ^& C8 d4 X+ {0 j- Plan menus, estimate food costs, order supplies
7 E7 `6 |% @: @& v: J* e/ G+ r9 K- Manage kitchen operations
8 o# j6 y7 \/ H" n0 _8 p8 C5 V- Maintain acceptable levels of food production
! n) w+ y5 k8 r6 W8 y2 X- Work night shifts, as necessary
+ j: H# L5 a* g* z. G* ORequirements:
5 X  H: M' n6 M  q+ |- Completion of college or other program in cooking is mandatory. Associate or Bachelor’s degree in restaurant / hospitality/ culinary arts is considered an asset.
- Minimum 2 years of previous experience as Cook in a fast-paced environment is mandatory.
- Good proficiency in English.

This is a contract, full-time position.
- D0 O2 ~+ j# O$ mWorking hours: 10 hours per day, 70 hours per week.
Working schedule: 21 days on and 7 days off.
' b. ?% V# d0 D1 h+ S/ CSalary: $160.00 per day. After 3 months of employment, medical, dental, disability and pension plan benefits will be available.
