+ {8 c: Q  l) W! N* ?) ^3 T1 oPlan and direct food preparation and culinary activities
/ m9 p8 y# t# Z+ C% Y7 k" LModify menus or create new ones that meet quality standards
Estimate food requirements and food/labor costs
Supervise kitchen staff’s activities
; {  n, p- B' P/ t0 p; mArrange for equipment purchases and repairs
Recruit and manage kitchen staff
3 r/ t5 c6 \; kRectify arising problems or complaints
Give prepared plates the “final touch”
Perform administrative duties
Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
/ i: \3 b& B" L5 `0 K$ K5 i7 [) HKeep time and payroll records
" m5 B3 f4 O' C$ K; T1 G4 f: z- iMaintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers

Proven working experience as a head chef
Excellent record of kitchen management
Ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently

Communication and leadership skills
