Job Description:

Plan and direct food preparation and culinary activities
Modify menus or create new ones that meet quality standards
. o# I' a2 A% g# K. n; d  R( v1 BEstimate food requirements and food/labor costs
Supervise kitchen staff’s activities
6 K$ e6 W1 _: ^7 VArrange for equipment purchases and repairs
Recruit and manage kitchen staff
Rectify arising problems or complaints
. {4 g6 v4 Z3 R1 o$ tGive prepared plates the “final touch”
Perform administrative duties
Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
4 d* Z) H4 r# _7 EKeep time and payroll records
Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers

Proven working experience as a head chef
Excellent record of kitchen management
5 D: _5 i/ L. _1 [; O" MAbility to spot and resolve problems efficiently
Capable of delegating multiple tasks
+ u: M, w3 `: r7 G6 bCommunication and leadership skills
Keep up with cooking trends and best practices
Working knowledge of various computer software programs (MS Office, restaurant management software, POS)
BS degree in Culinary science or related certificate
