Plan and direct food preparation and culinary activities
Modify menus or create new ones that meet quality standards
$ }. k& I' E" ^8 x2 T, m6 GEstimate food requirements and food/labor costs
Supervise kitchen staff’s activities
Arrange for equipment purchases and repairs
; I3 s* ?9 `% {7 r# w8 bRecruit and manage kitchen staff
Rectify arising problems or complaints
Give prepared plates the “final touch”
0 S, k$ a- c5 V: t2 g& t; \Perform administrative duties
. Q. Y2 Z% \$ I/ k* u& zComply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
' r6 X) k' G8 Y' @Keep time and payroll records

Excellent record of kitchen management

Working knowledge of various computer software programs (MS Office, restaurant management software, POS)
