Job Description:

Plan and direct food preparation and culinary activities
0 w, ~) p+ [; q1 L( G" pModify menus or create new ones that meet quality standards
Estimate food requirements and food/labor costs
Supervise kitchen staff’s activities
Arrange for equipment purchases and repairs
0 f  D7 Z3 }) n2 B- c! sRecruit and manage kitchen staff
Rectify arising problems or complaints
" ~% Q  _' b3 c2 B  v3 |! U( n: iGive prepared plates the “final touch”
6 ^3 f; P. w3 ]8 e- ^* C" ], IPerform administrative duties
5 c0 f3 A7 H7 G' H/ OComply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
Keep time and payroll records
Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers

Proven working experience as a head chef

Ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently
Capable of delegating multiple tasks

1 r) R% u# \4 n0 zKeep up with cooking trends and best practices
( }" ^3 g* {- ?% ]; cWorking knowledge of various computer software programs (MS Office, restaurant management software, POS)
BS degree in Culinary science or related certificate
