No one was injured after a brush fire tore through a section of Edmonton's river valley on Friday night.
5 s- A% y5 E& c8 z7 u  y+ _1 xThe fire started around 11 p.m. near the Wolf Willow and Rio Terrace neighbourhoods in the west end of the city.  
( @/ x3 e8 o' w9 h0 k3 w; O4 w! Z: n! kEdmonton Fire Rescue spokeswoman Sarah Meffen said 17 fire trucks were called to fight the fire. It was declared under control at 1:20 a.m., and was officially out at 3:20 a.m.
The fire covered a large area of the ravine, Meffen said, but none of the nearby homes were evacuated.
