萨达姆在他最后的信中号召伊拉克人民不要仇恨由美国率领的2003年入侵军队。这封信是在appeals court驳会了他的上诉，命令萨达姆一个月内被处绞刑后一天在一个web Site发表的。

T) f) B2 J8 a& B/ r' x2 m' @BAGHDAD, Iraq — Saddam Hussein called on Iraqis not to hate the U.S.-led forces that invaded Iraq in 2003 in a farewell letter posted on a Web site Wednesday, a day after an appeals court upheld the former dictator's death sentence and ordered him to be hanged within one month.

" c. o2 T- O3 U8 }2 |' P1 fOne of Mr. Hussein's, Issam Ghazzawi, confirmed to The Associated Press in Jordan that the letter was authentic, saying it was written by Mr. Hussein on Nov. 5 — the day he was convicted by an Iraqi tribunal for ordering the killings of scores of Shiite Muslims in the city of Dujail in 1982.
