EDMONTON - One person is dead after a vehicle crashed early Friday into the South Edmonton Common Walmart.

Police and fire crews responded to the crash at the at 1203 Parsons Road, just after 2 a.m. Police said the vehicle struck the wall of the Walmart garden centre.! D( w/ F$ \, J

Police have not confirmed the person’s age or gender.& U; o4 h8 V( Y4 F
- R+ G, \4 o0 v6 C/ UThe fire was quickly under control, but the heat set off the sprinklers inside the store, forcing the night staff to flee.
