Plant Payroll/AP

Your job responsibilities will include:
•Check payroll time cards, production chits and other paperwork, calculate production time. Key data into system and transmit to Nethris for processing.
: B. _& }! [) r* G•Prepare monthly payroll journal entries for capturing labour and fringe benefit costs
" a1 ]+ y# X+ M' k' p•Prepare monthly safety and statistical reports for management.
•Prepare payment requisitions for group insurance, RRSP, etc. as agreed upon by the union contract
1 v1 P0 Y9 U; s9 Q7 {5 a2 D* V•Coordinate work related accident and group insurance claims.

•Prepare month-end AP accrual

The ideal candidate will have excellent Excel skills and 3-5 years of payroll experience in a JIT manufacturing company. Exposure to the payroll system of Datatrack/Nethris would be a definite asset. Experience with union payroll will be an asset. Need to be able to speak fluent English, has advance reading and writing skills.
