装shawcable上网看电视要单独付费买modem吗？

打算装shawcable上网看电视，但从shaw的网站上看到monthly charge的条件是“Price based on purchased Shaw Cable Modem. Modem included options also available.”不明白什麽意思？请使用shaw cable的给解释一下。

看电视不用Modem吧，上网才需要。

是要上网并看电视，可我不是学生呀。

talk to them and ask for student promotion package, they may don't need a student card.
