This option is automatically included for all applicants up to age 59, and can be purchased for ages 60 to 85 (provided the applicant is eligible). ' ^: q9 @ D/ O8 A) V4 zWhen the option is included or purchased, exclusion 1 in the policy is modified such that, after any applicable waiting period, a stable chronic & i' ]/ R2 v: ~0 D! F9 A# Z1 dcondition (as defined) is covered under the policy.
“Stable Chronic Condition” means: a condition which is under treatment and which has been controlled by consistent use of medication prescribed by a “physician”; and " j- S2 s$ t# Z h) I• there have been no new symptoms or change in symptoms; and/or# ~ ~& {. L# E
• there has been no “hospitalization”or change in treatment, medication or dosage in the 180 days prior to the “effective date” of this policy. 7 ?% m6 Q# C" {+ X7 [. r8 N3 qIf “your” “physician” has determined that “your” health condition has improved and changes “your” treatment or medication or its dosages due to “your” improved health condition, this does not constitute a change.
