& K6 X6 U# _+ u- q# [$ l& }+ N• Support capital projects and network build activity with coordination, installation, and commissioning duties • Respond to corrective network problems, performing effective/efficient problem analysis, rapid troubleshooting diagnosis and prompt repair of equipment to ensure service restoral objectives are met.

• Coordinate with other Technicians and departments as required to obtain maintain service levels.

; Q! `1 \7 E3 S3 X# |• Plan for and implement preventive maintenance routines to ensure network standards of performance are met.

• Perform acceptance tests on newly installed sites and equipment to ensure results meet design specifications.

$ f' o2 k% t, T, f! M7 a2 _• Microwave and Transmission experience (e.g. DS1, DS2 ,DS3, OC3, OC12, IP) • Gain in depth knowledge of key quality service indicators in geographic area of responsibility.

% ]) E4 x) w! f0 X. }" [• Optical Fiber, SONET and knowledge of TCP/IP • Participate in retune activities associated with network optimization and build activities.

• Administrative reporting of Mileage, Timesheet, Expenses, Equipment and Deficiency ticket updates etc.

" y" d  ]$ n/ I, w• Test hand-offs, RSSI, transmit level on mobiles, dropped calls and investigate any changes.

• Document activities for future assessment analysis.

• 5 years of telecommunications experience.

5 L0 O% j* V( Y• Diploma or Certificate in Electronics from a technical institute.

• Ability to work with minimal supervision.

; @. j1 H% m$ j1 [" }* q7 P• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.

• Demonstrated investigative, problem solving, analysis and troubleshooting skills.

• Strong interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills.

The Manager is looking for a contractor with the following skills:

-Telecom Diploma with at least 2 years of post secondary education -Experience working at a cell site -Must be willing to travel around Alberta (expenses will be reimbursed) -Experience with Spectrum Analyzers, Internet Protocol Analyzers, RFC testing and Microwave testing *The manager is not looking for Engineers.

*The contractor will not be required to do any climbing This is for a large LTE Expansion in Alberta.
