information that will make your transition to the University community

look for the volunteers in bright colored t-shirts, as they have a wealth

Both days run on a similar schedule, from 9:30am to 6pm, with evening 3 B6 C' M y1 B# I! ?8 Z
activities planned for both days. Throughout the 2 days you will attend
+ T% z0 t' J5 L5 o9 i) E- Ya variety of sessions crucial to your success at the U of A. On Tuesday
4 Z0 q& O" j8 P6 k* m/ y. {. Eevening we host our highlight event, the President's Address, in
; R! R# J2 l7 N, o3 @Hawrelak Park.# Q" t) w5 e2 @ w k
' j) h9 e0 ~; k& S/ y+ k# D! P
You will also meet your MUG Leader and the rest of your MUG group on
' p0 Z( K; l2 e+ V( cSeptember 4th, with whom you will spend the two days at Orientation 2006,
& {9 ?! a: M5 \and then continue to meet with for the entire year.+ Q$ P1 B G7 Y' R2 c
8 i* O9 D2 u$ RBoth MUGs and Orientation 2006 will provide many opportunities for you
* [) M6 k& `4 T) ]to get all of your questions answered and to meet other students from 0 B8 j' m% c/ M X6 S5 q* s) r
your faculty. Among other things, you are scheduled to receive your 2 V( K4 o$ U+ ?4 |/ `
ONECard on one of the two days of Orientation 2006. To be able to process * n4 C3 T& R$ _6 w, ^1 `
your ONECard, you will need to bring your acceptance letter and a piece
- a' ?1 G3 q" A$ g l; U5 O- Tof government-issued photo ID. You will also need to bring your Campus
1 u8 r; v+ c' {8 y: \5 RComputing ID (CCID), which was sent by e-mail from AICT (Academic
( F1 |, ~1 V6 T( Q$ M/ V* nInformation and Communications Technologies). Dress for the weather and
# a5 Q9 |9 S5 Q- E" x% dbring either money or food for up to four meals (lunch and dinner for the
, {! @- M: ]' ~* ltwo days of Orientation).
