information that will make your transition to the University community

activities planned for both days. Throughout the 2 days you will attend 3 V# K: I* s1 s6 Q
a variety of sessions crucial to your success at the U of A. On Tuesday

You will also meet your MUG Leader and the rest of your MUG group on ) U2 d. O# I5 z6 K, } r# D' h9 z9 J
September 4th, with whom you will spend the two days at Orientation 2006,
7 s1 G" s7 T e' r X, N. p- Tand then continue to meet with for the entire year.8 E" c' D" N8 s* c

Both MUGs and Orientation 2006 will provide many opportunities for you 7 t6 A6 z2 q4 X- \' N4 Q
to get all of your questions answered and to meet other students from : h) F/ Y- k, d% j& M
your faculty. Among other things, you are scheduled to receive your / N& \: f: ^' D# H4 b7 f. {( _
ONECard on one of the two days of Orientation 2006. To be able to process 3 }0 V. L9 a2 w- N+ X" Z5 T
your ONECard, you will need to bring your acceptance letter and a piece
/ b( W1 _1 ^2 x; w# {- ` Xof government-issued photo ID. You will also need to bring your Campus . ]( Z3 _4 R. R2 F2 g* h
Computing ID (CCID), which was sent by e-mail from AICT (Academic * g6 a& E4 x' t5 `- j. A {
Information and Communications Technologies). Dress for the weather and ! n1 E# z, p" w9 X: Q0 g) F
bring either money or food for up to four meals (lunch and dinner for the 2 ?9 i' [* I' h/ |
two days of Orientation).
