Orientation 2006 will be held on Monday, September 4th and Tuesday, 7 Z; d/ q; _2 X: V& y; _. a9 c& ^" B* G

of volunteers ready to help you when you get to campus. Specifically 7 \ V$ y# [7 l1 r/ I+ m/ ?
look for the volunteers in bright colored t-shirts, as they have a wealth . T" a) p1 i ?

Both days run on a similar schedule, from 9:30am to 6pm, with evening 2 [- ~; I$ V7 D
activities planned for both days. Throughout the 2 days you will attend " t+ Q% D2 n" M9 ]3 A
a variety of sessions crucial to your success at the U of A. On Tuesday ( f5 p0 H5 Y4 d5 x0 @4 {
evening we host our highlight event, the President's Address, in
( G' Z# Z0 K; m% nHawrelak Park.

September 4th, with whom you will spend the two days at Orientation 2006, " r* [/ q0 Q/ d! o- a( T; t
and then continue to meet with for the entire year.* M7 B: R7 d( H' k" i6 u# P# l

Both MUGs and Orientation 2006 will provide many opportunities for you
0 W& _0 ^0 A. a, n* M+ R. Y/ Ato get all of your questions answered and to meet other students from - i) g' i0 `9 e w% y7 D
your faculty. Among other things, you are scheduled to receive your 7 V" x) L6 ^/ e
ONECard on one of the two days of Orientation 2006. To be able to process
# Q! A/ R4 I7 L: f# Q7 R- qyour ONECard, you will need to bring your acceptance letter and a piece n* O- x0 A. l* z
of government-issued photo ID. You will also need to bring your Campus
1 u, _5 o) j( E' H% h" F$ w6 q7 cComputing ID (CCID), which was sent by e-mail from AICT (Academic % J" p' K6 L# R$ i9 v1 J' R% F
Information and Communications Technologies). Dress for the weather and
& E+ k& P- G9 i' [bring either money or food for up to four meals (lunch and dinner for the
3 a( R5 ^) b$ b' o% c/ Utwo days of Orientation).8 Y) m" r6 o" n3 O
