To provide front-line customer service of Personal Lines policies and taking responsibility for the retention and account development of existing clients, quoting and placing new business as required." o- ^/ J- J9 k# H

2 s$ L+ o/ r. @/ ?$ k) y2 Q  }Primary Objective/Duties of position:# @7 h  g3 s. h9 _, g3 O
1 `1 A' n0 a  I6 O3 V! M
    Servicing on-going client needs, advising on insurance matters, conduct needs assessment, recommending solutions, answering inquiries, conduct care calls and process renewals
8 Y8 l8 [' N2 `+ h0 d' J    Selling new policies/writing new business to existing or new clients, retaining existing book of business( R( |4 J: |" c2 G* ^
    Quoting new business through outbound call initiatives, introductory letters and receiving walk-in clients
9 C8 L3 r/ s9 i8 y# r3 `    Contacting Underwriters and Adjusters to discuss guidelines and policy* {) ]3 @& i9 x2 |
    Preparing documentation for insurers, completing applications for clients, issuing insurance certificates, processing changes and reviewing renewals
6 _4 ]" O; k4 D# b' m6 W6 U    Keeping current on underwriting rules and workflow processes" y' P* ~( d- y& y" S
    Actively participate in training initiatives: I  N2 L% m" R8 e: S
    Participate in community marketing initiatives
( E( g% A% j5 ?' C* I/ a: n% \  Z1 K, E4 G
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
8 d0 E9 K6 C) `: @8 O8 f/ K
) a2 f& E# `$ b5 V' M1 ~, K3 w    High School and or Post Secondary Education8 [+ w' S" L* k, M" g* E" G: O, b! b. o
    Previous customer service experience1 a  V" x- K. q
    Previous sales experience an asset
" q& z# Y; m2 @4 m1 ]+ H    General Insurance License Level 1 or willing to obtain
" K9 c% C- [- f    Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities successfully0 k( i/ [: F0 B( D
    Strong analytical and organizational skills0 C8 K% h% Y0 D* I0 x" C2 M: A2 @
    Excellent verbal and written communication skills( A  }9 H1 @/ M6 [, w; ^" m
    Excellent customer services skills and adept in conflict resolution, k$ K  ]! w2 G0 _! Q. w
