Position Summary:
To provide front-line customer service of Personal Lines policies and taking responsibility for the retention and account development of existing clients, quoting and placing new business as required.

Primary Objective/Duties of position:

    Servicing on-going client needs, advising on insurance matters, conduct needs assessment, recommending solutions, answering inquiries, conduct care calls and process renewals
    Selling new policies/writing new business to existing or new clients, retaining existing book of business
0 Y6 U1 h4 X: [+ \! m, F: `3 A" q    Quoting new business through outbound call initiatives, introductory letters and receiving walk-in clients
( q) Z9 L$ ^8 f% r    Contacting Underwriters and Adjusters to discuss guidelines and policy
/ c1 q' n  Z9 g% y2 c! s' t    Preparing documentation for insurers, completing applications for clients, issuing insurance certificates, processing changes and reviewing renewals
+ v- [7 Y4 L+ o8 I    Keeping current on underwriting rules and workflow processes

* v% l( N& r5 E! Q% D2 q8 _8 FThe ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

    High School and or Post Secondary Education
5 [9 S7 W: r7 W4 ~' S1 C    Previous customer service experience
3 v' f' q6 b2 t    Previous sales experience an asset
3 N) U' Z8 b$ D7 H8 I% B, Z  u$ w" E    General Insurance License Level 1 or willing to obtain
    Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities successfully
) b2 j2 w  M$ P/ @, t  h    Strong analytical and organizational skills
    Excellent verbal and written communication skills
. V" w0 n+ P% b# u: s6 j, X9 Q    Excellent customer services skills and adept in conflict resolution
