To provide front-line customer service of Personal Lines policies and taking responsibility for the retention and account development of existing clients, quoting and placing new business as required.

2 s$ L+ o/ r. @/ ?$ k) y2 Q  }Primary Objective/Duties of position:

    Servicing on-going client needs, advising on insurance matters, conduct needs assessment, recommending solutions, answering inquiries, conduct care calls and process renewals
8 Y8 l8 [' N2 `+ h0 d' J    Selling new policies/writing new business to existing or new clients, retaining existing book of business
    Quoting new business through outbound call initiatives, introductory letters and receiving walk-in clients
9 C8 L3 r/ s9 i8 y# r3 `    Contacting Underwriters and Adjusters to discuss guidelines and policy
    Preparing documentation for insurers, completing applications for clients, issuing insurance certificates, processing changes and reviewing renewals
6 _4 ]" O; k4 D# b' m6 W6 U    Keeping current on underwriting rules and workflow processes
    Actively participate in training initiatives
    Participate in community marketing initiatives

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

) a2 f& E# `$ b5 V' M1 ~, K3 w    High School and or Post Secondary Education
    Previous customer service experience
    Previous sales experience an asset
" q& z# Y; m2 @4 m1 ]+ H    General Insurance License Level 1 or willing to obtain
" K9 c% C- [- f    Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities successfully
    Strong analytical and organizational skills
    Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    Excellent customer services skills and adept in conflict resolution
