. o/ G" e2 a6 HOverall function of this position is to develop the East Asian customer base of the company. The purpose of the Business Development Rep is to drive new business in his/her territory, while maintaining profitable sales, ?. _- M7 |8 J/ o \

6 O) A; U7 b% ]3 U5 ]0 AKey Responsibilities:
; a; |9 c4 L! u
• To initiate, follow up on and negotiate opportunities with potential customers for the intended purpose of ‘signing’ them as new business. This is measured through in-store customer sales. 
$ x5 _1 \! ^7 [7 p
• To develop the customer base through cultivating leads & opportunities and be able to convert these into regular customers.

• To be accountable via daily sales call reporting in real time, measured against territory growth (non-tobacco store sales) vs. the previous year.+ S) H2 h% d! Y" k

• To execute focused selling in a large territory targeting the food-service industry, maintenance calling on high volume KEY customers in foodservice, convenience stores, small businesses, clubs & organizations.
) Q$ Z/ z+ L: w! Q% c( x" ]
• To execute the division’s promotional and marketing programs in conjunction with the overall business plan. Accountability via customer buying activity during the period measured through store sales.1 {4 W, _# i5 X; L

• To manage all aspects of customer inquiries leading to regular store visits, including initial store tours.

• To develop customer relationships with gold level customer base and industry organizations.

• To build extensive product knowledge over various categories and be capable of driving sales in achieving sales & profit targets.

• Ability to speak English and Cantonese or Mandarin

• Proven experience meeting aggressive sales targets.

; {' F$ Z4 |. F7 @0 }7 I& F5 f. l• Minimum of 5 years of sales experience.

• East Asian Food Service and/or Wholesale sales experience is desirable.

4 Y* M; T* ~6 @' D• Superior communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills.

• Travel within the assigned region.

) i5 X5 w) }; A' z- s• Comfortable using automated selling technology in a daily setting – Salesforce.com
