Key Responsibilities are as follows:
# f0 i! D" E8 ~2 l•This position is accountable for the effective development, delivery and evaluation of Integrated Service Program funded by the Citizenship and Immigration Canada and Alberta Human Services
; o' A7 ]' T: b0 K•Specific accountabilities include analyzing and defining community needs, assisting in the development of new initiatives and overall strategy, participation in community and/or industry advocacy and social action processes, project management, recruitment, leadership and performance appraisal of a team of up to 10 para-professionals and/or volunteers, program priority setting, maintenance of appropriate reporting, development and management of program budget, preparation of report submissions to funding or regulatory bodies/ f- J l2 y1 W, \0 r1 x3 }% M
•Required skills include: understanding of client needs and appropriate interventions, program implementation and evaluation, creativity and ongoing program development, leadership and co-ordination of service provision and administrative functions, participation in budget development and monitoring, staff recruiting, supervision, development and evaluation, client case management, program data collection, data and narrative reporting
6 I! ]' o9 ^/ a) t8 g7 z; ~•Responsibilities include relationship management with CIC, AHS and other organizations; community development planning and activities; participation in and leadership of agency-wide projects.

Qualifications:- a% F$ ~; M0 T1 z' f; e* u
•University degree or diploma in a related field or extensive related experience ;
1 A2 e, y. J2 q; \) x•Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit/voluntary organization;
4 u3 Z( R( [6 s6 r: J•Knowledge of settlement/cross-cultural processes, human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management;
8 G8 A, i5 p9 C$ O•Two or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization or demonstrated potential 9 E! |( |! }4 r( F$ k
•Fluent in English, knowledge of another language is preferred but not mandatory., H. ~' i9 k6 w/ A& ~% k8 d3 [" c
