Key Responsibilities are as follows:9 b3 {" \" V/ b( O* [0 ~; N
•This position is accountable for the effective development, delivery and evaluation of Integrated Service Program funded by the Citizenship and Immigration Canada and Alberta Human Services
6 P9 s2 Q' T: c, }/ c+ L•Specific accountabilities include analyzing and defining community needs, assisting in the development of new initiatives and overall strategy, participation in community and/or industry advocacy and social action processes, project management, recruitment, leadership and performance appraisal of a team of up to 10 para-professionals and/or volunteers, program priority setting, maintenance of appropriate reporting, development and management of program budget, preparation of report submissions to funding or regulatory bodies) y/ J' ?# S l$ j
•Required skills include: understanding of client needs and appropriate interventions, program implementation and evaluation, creativity and ongoing program development, leadership and co-ordination of service provision and administrative functions, participation in budget development and monitoring, staff recruiting, supervision, development and evaluation, client case management, program data collection, data and narrative reporting
, G8 o6 F( H7 N$ M0 @•Responsibilities include relationship management with CIC, AHS and other organizations; community development planning and activities; participation in and leadership of agency-wide projects.
' H$ i% e$ t4 T [) i; }•Coordination with other program coordinators in LINC, ECALA, family, youth and senior programs is essential. \& ^7 K) l* q; S% W

Qualifications:
/ l6 ?9 w" l7 `•University degree or diploma in a related field or extensive related experience ;
+ g$ T/ o |4 ?$ d& ?: ?•Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit/voluntary organization;( N0 |7 J4 U9 [
•Knowledge of settlement/cross-cultural processes, human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management;
/ q* p) c4 ]8 F$ G/ z•Two or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization or demonstrated potential / e+ m& ?$ c7 x+ ^4 m% \
•Fluent in English, knowledge of another language is preferred but not mandatory.
