Today Family Violence Help Centre is an innovative centre which operates with an integrated services model providing a single point of entry to comprehensive services for those impacted by family violence in Edmonton and area. The Today Family Violence Help Centre is part of a collaborative, coordinated community response.

We are currently looking for an experienced individual for the term position of Housing Support Worker to start immediately. As part of a team, the individual will be required to build a housing registry, develop relationships with community agencies that will address housing needs and coordination of housing services for individuals impacted by Family Violence.

' X9 Y! n5 P+ D- Q3 q* B) o  dThe ideal candidate would possess the following qualifications:
- t4 `' H4 e2 Q) S, ~+ ?  F Minimum post secondary degree or in progress of obtaining a degree.
 Two to three years front line experience in providing resources to clients with barriers or experience in programs providing housing to clients with barriers.
% s" }/ ^0 T! |3 g. x9 z Experience in assisting clients who have barriers to accessing housing.
5 j5 U" T; ]; K, w0 s Commitment to work collaboratively with all constituent groups, including staff, program participants, and community agencies.
 Demonstrated knowledge of community housing resources.
 Excellent computer skills, interpersonal and written communication skills.
" H! o7 {) h  z* E Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
4 V2 U5 l' G. T An understanding of family violence is an asset. The hourly rate is $18.00 - $20.00 per hour depending on the qualifications of
