•        To minimize the costs of operation in the Front Office Department while maximizing revenues.
( W! Q; ^# ]# c* S1 s- K; L•        Oversee hotel security requirements. 0 j5 {# g% e& y: V1 ]
•        To recruit, train and develop Front Office personnel and provide direction, support, mentor and motivate as necessary.  x8 F+ v: n+ i8 I( Z  J
•        To maintain or exceed the established standards of operation.
$ n) j& ^% ?- Y3 D•        To ensure the assets of the Front Office Department are maintained and controlled in accordance with the standards and objectives of the Hotel.
2 v) o: E* c% q1 j•        To communicate effectively with other Departments Heads to levels of business and type of business.4 r# _# l" [5 k$ q& T, z5 \* S
•        To ensure positive closure to any negative situation. Handling and resolving guest complaints and unwanted guests.
+ m) v9 g1 R2 e6 o6 T! q•        Be able to work all shifts including night audit when business levels are warranted. I.e. working weekends, covering sick leave., v% e" j5 r  X4 _% t  l: z$ ]" h
•        Weekly scheduling of the front desk staff.
9 x! @$ z0 r" B: w: Z" B: g  ]* ?4 I•        Manage rates on a daily basis for short and long term.
8 C2 d0 Y3 q: Z5 y; K6 Q3 o  [•        Perform 3 month and one year evaluations and/or when needed. + \8 X0 T: O+ W! b4 q
•        Leading and coaching to provide exceptional guest service.
3 t# c1 a- f6 N- ]•        Ensuring the safety and well being of our guests and co-workers by having working knowledge of crisis and emergency procedures and that all front desk staff are also aware.
, e4 N/ Q% W" f7 \•        Attend Cluster meetings.
+ n0 u: Q% z0 B# i$ {8 O•        Complete month end report, ROB, Cluster calendar, tracking, forecasting, source of business and any other revenue related report.
+ }: J+ M0 O! i' q* L" Q  `( N•        Handle PMS computer problems in each department
2 F% f0 f* ^4 s' }; [•        Handle any issue with the 4 different interfaces : PBX call accounting, PBX messages, voice mail and movies
7 v4 Q+ n1 p# t•        Handle any issues dealing with high speed internet in guest rooms or business center
  ]6 y( x$ r9 _& P( \* b! P•        Maintaining front desk floats, and FOM float 4 u- Y9 y3 t$ V1 T" H( l) r0 o
•        Any other tasks assigned by the General Manager

•1-2 year of Management/ Supervisory experience in a Limited Service Property or Full Service Property
' ]. |3 @$ |' B  ^" R5 J6 a6 L' u• Ability to deal with all levels of management, staff and businesses in a professional manner;5 q) o  ?  b* g' _. S
• Ability to lead and develop;  ]5 c9 N" i0 c+ @2 `' _
• Background in the development & execution of business and operating budgets;! R6 G( p& r: W
• Excellent oral & written communication skills; Strong organizational skills and be detailed orientated;0 K: x* z. q9 z8 v1 G. j
• Ability to work within deadlines;2 K- q) l/ ^( T& U& S+ S
• High level of creativity and innovation;+ {# N& A# z/ W$ o
• Proven ability to manage multi-tasked assignments;
