Job Responsibilities
{% d# K: v8 i6 g5 D& B• To minimize the costs of operation in the Front Office Department while maximizing revenues.
3 @1 u! \9 e% L3 e6 h• Oversee hotel security requirements. % e* s! O: [+ j4 X2 j
• To recruit, train and develop Front Office personnel and provide direction, support, mentor and motivate as necessary.+ u- P0 B. O& S. L/ C0 B& n
• To maintain or exceed the established standards of operation.
' B: O1 ?9 F k# F• To ensure the assets of the Front Office Department are maintained and controlled in accordance with the standards and objectives of the Hotel.% _/ w0 \. N& R" E
• To communicate effectively with other Departments Heads to levels of business and type of business.. q. C1 u0 l& b" ^
• To ensure positive closure to any negative situation. Handling and resolving guest complaints and unwanted guests.
9 ]+ z; \) E3 \1 ~' W, \• Be able to work all shifts including night audit when business levels are warranted. I.e. working weekends, covering sick leave.1 e: Q, G9 E' o" X, R& O* o& p
• Weekly scheduling of the front desk staff. 4 F7 i5 R7 i3 R: q, \9 A% D- u5 I
• Manage rates on a daily basis for short and long term.
c* B1 j3 u! L: X& n8 M, A2 ]9 c0 J• Perform 3 month and one year evaluations and/or when needed.
' r) T: s0 b! A+ d( I• Leading and coaching to provide exceptional guest service.
% _8 i7 S9 w6 z' q, C/ g8 ` D% I• Ensuring the safety and well being of our guests and co-workers by having working knowledge of crisis and emergency procedures and that all front desk staff are also aware.
' l, {+ `0 O1 H0 E• Attend Cluster meetings. . B0 X9 B2 Q+ J/ U
• Complete month end report, ROB, Cluster calendar, tracking, forecasting, source of business and any other revenue related report.

" ]. H9 I% x& R) C; E- G) R- c• Handle any issue with the 4 different interfaces : PBX call accounting, PBX messages, voice mail and movies
! X# s# G4 O5 t0 J$ Y! q5 k8 _& F• Handle any issues dealing with high speed internet in guest rooms or business center1 J0 l8 D7 L7 F a
• Maintaining front desk floats, and FOM float % X& B6 z+ I( t0 R# N3 U

Requirements:; k" F8 }) b7 v, g* p, A: r
•1-2 year of Management/ Supervisory experience in a Limited Service Property or Full Service Property% s' u: S4 `9 V' H9 M
• Ability to deal with all levels of management, staff and businesses in a professional manner;' c2 {0 A; D- j8 [4 Z) u+ c
• Ability to lead and develop;! z- l& D, G4 y4 I8 `9 N
• Background in the development & execution of business and operating budgets;
+ W$ A: F$ \$ I# E• Excellent oral & written communication skills; Strong organizational skills and be detailed orientated;
! F3 R3 P: H4 Q; x, v0 u1 F• Ability to work within deadlines;
