Job Description:
To acquire and maintain a solid base of customers, attaining a high level of profitability for the property. You will be accountable for generating budgeted revenue through development and implementation of a sales & marketing strategy.

) l2 M! D" O9 q! G% k- U• Solicit new business: Locally Negotiated, leisure, association, tours, sports, group markets and incentive travel through planned personal calls, mail outs and telephone solicitations.
• Develop and execute annual Business Plan and Sales and Marketing plan to ensure top line revenues are achieved;
• Execute individual travel bookings, group bookings, small meetings and catering business;
• Provide professional leadership to the sales team with a strong focus on achieving budgeted revenues;
• Investigate/follow-up on all Sales leads maintaining an effective trace system in order to convert potential business, lapsed business and maximize on repeat business.
9 U' _" q2 w$ _' q3 i; @; h• As part of the hotel's sales team, assist in the creation, planning and organization of any in-house promotional efforts of the hotel;

• Participate in trade shows;
) @2 V8 N3 `! q, a+ Q6 D• Attend public relation functions; Participating in community and trade boards and committees on behalf of the hotel;
% i1 T. ^' g" A• To participate in Revenue/Yield Management meetings; Increase Market Share;
• Maintain close relationship with reservations and front office staff;

! M1 V2 N4 c% S•1-2 year of Sales or Supervisory experience in a Limited Service Property or Full Service Property
• Ability to deal with all levels of management, staff and businesses in a professional manner;
; j: T0 \$ y, o• Ability to lead and develop;
• Background in the development & execution of business, marketing and sales plans and operating budgets;
: t: Z7 S/ E8 i" {; b$ z" t• Proven record of development of sales and marketing efforts;
# h& r. ^. k4 ?) c" L) W• Excellent oral & written communication skills; Strong organizational skills and be detailed orientated;
) F; J- x2 r9 ]- ?' l5 g• Ability to work within deadlines;
• High level of creativity and innovation;
• Proven ability to manage multi-tasked assignments;
& K" L3 U) i  y- ~• Strong interpersonal skills and a working knowledge of ACT, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
