Job Description:
: S! `+ Z2 N# m$ R4 m8 E! cTo acquire and maintain a solid base of customers, attaining a high level of profitability for the property. You will be accountable for generating budgeted revenue through development and implementation of a sales & marketing strategy.

4 P  q5 Q  K' M; R  Q• Solicit new business: Locally Negotiated, leisure, association, tours, sports, group markets and incentive travel through planned personal calls, mail outs and telephone solicitations." g, h- j; a& A. {% }! Y
• Develop and execute annual Business Plan and Sales and Marketing plan to ensure top line revenues are achieved;- t  X4 ]1 r- R5 \8 p
• Execute individual travel bookings, group bookings, small meetings and catering business;1 S5 h0 W8 o4 Y5 J$ Y% j6 q
• Provide professional leadership to the sales team with a strong focus on achieving budgeted revenues;
$ p& S% L, C; T% i$ a• Investigate/follow-up on all Sales leads maintaining an effective trace system in order to convert potential business, lapsed business and maximize on repeat business.
+ `) s& F! I4 g8 j: m• As part of the hotel's sales team, assist in the creation, planning and organization of any in-house promotional efforts of the hotel;
1 P0 i; A# o1 z0 E# G) [• Work with National/Regional Sales initiatives;! R* m+ B2 c% J$ R5 }/ z
• Participate in trade shows;
) _8 m# b" I1 \) Z• Attend public relation functions; Participating in community and trade boards and committees on behalf of the hotel;4 U+ d3 Z( E, u. {
• To participate in Revenue/Yield Management meetings; Increase Market Share;8 j6 j: H) V. J- O0 a2 @- t
• Maintain close relationship with reservations and front office staff;, W! L. k0 B/ S9 u5 ~
• Ensure top level delivery of expected guest service;

•1-2 year of Sales or Supervisory experience in a Limited Service Property or Full Service Property
5 K7 |0 ~: O! v( y! E8 c% m• Ability to deal with all levels of management, staff and businesses in a professional manner;2 Y! p4 T2 \; e) r6 X6 c: T6 K
• Ability to lead and develop;
7 j7 y+ n! G. X• Background in the development & execution of business, marketing and sales plans and operating budgets;
