To acquire and maintain a solid base of customers, attaining a high level of profitability for the property. You will be accountable for generating budgeted revenue through development and implementation of a sales & marketing strategy.6 x; a5 r4 ?2 s! f4 |* I8 O

• Solicit new business: Locally Negotiated, leisure, association, tours, sports, group markets and incentive travel through planned personal calls, mail outs and telephone solicitations.
. B- t: U1 ~0 b9 {3 ^* X) {• Develop and execute annual Business Plan and Sales and Marketing plan to ensure top line revenues are achieved;7 E* M4 }9 Q6 w; y) }4 N. |6 Z
• Execute individual travel bookings, group bookings, small meetings and catering business;
+ @& r$ ~% f- }+ e  j6 Z# J' ~2 e' M) n• Provide professional leadership to the sales team with a strong focus on achieving budgeted revenues;# ?# Z* Z3 [. a6 j
• Investigate/follow-up on all Sales leads maintaining an effective trace system in order to convert potential business, lapsed business and maximize on repeat business.  ~+ v7 }1 e' _8 R6 G* ]; w' k3 P
• As part of the hotel's sales team, assist in the creation, planning and organization of any in-house promotional efforts of the hotel;8 h2 G; f3 |) J8 w6 }3 ?
• Work with National/Regional Sales initiatives;
; C: J0 j# J' h' M5 t3 s0 y. o7 y• Participate in trade shows;
  q" ^+ p* Z% T/ |• Attend public relation functions; Participating in community and trade boards and committees on behalf of the hotel;
% ]# K6 p7 V* d$ C, k# y$ j9 x• To participate in Revenue/Yield Management meetings; Increase Market Share;8 y0 p" k& y2 v8 `  M/ ]5 l
• Maintain close relationship with reservations and front office staff;

•1-2 year of Sales or Supervisory experience in a Limited Service Property or Full Service Property

7 d6 D- w7 @5 b' J1 m• Ability to lead and develop;, z3 w8 H6 r' h6 e5 e5 U3 v
• Background in the development & execution of business, marketing and sales plans and operating budgets;
& B/ q7 ^/ v2 \+ T• Proven record of development of sales and marketing efforts;1 o! p; Q2 }$ \
• Excellent oral & written communication skills; Strong organizational skills and be detailed orientated;
