Job Description
" c8 J( \+ P7 ^1 @# `" a8 N$ g-promote the Centre and ISP to community organizations, businesses, educational institutions, etc. by in-person presentations, phone or sending relevant information
-promote Centre and ISP programs in various media: newspaper, radio, newsletter, etc.
+ ~  n) O' b5 J1 o+ ~-develop or update brochures, pamphlets, information packages, etc. for ISP and Centre
+ C$ J' Z6 @* j+ g, E4 ]-recruit new members to the Newcomers Club and maintain existing members
4 _# X8 R! s. Y1 ]1 x-promote, organize and coordinate the Newcomers Club’s activities
8 y9 Z$ n1 n7 Q4 Y# Y. i2 Q. T-outreach in different areas of the city where new immigrants are concentrated
-attend meetings relevant to ISP and outreach work to advocate issues and concerns of new immigrants
7 @) @: z5 v6 \& c-adapt to a flexible working schedule to accommodate the program’s goals
4 z; t% m7 t7 w) r. h. i' o  ]-report writing, data collection, conduct evaluations, budget management, etc.
-recruit and coordinate volunteers to assist with outreach activities
-assist with front counter services as needed and assigned

Qualifications
* T) R9 B. G/ V$ z% a5 x-degree/diploma in social work/human services and eligibility to be registered to area of discipline; relevant experience with community services/projects/immigrants will be considered
-knowledge of immigrant issues and concerns, community resources and services available
-good computer skills using Microsoft and Chinese software
6 R  B* j! z6 o- w) c4 w-fluent in English and Chinese
, A/ u7 y) E+ L/ E+ `-good interpersonal and people skills
) [5 i1 `  v. B9 L) c* ~-valid driver’s license
