Location: The job is based in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, however frequent travel to project sites in various provinces of Canada is required.

' e$ D5 l4 x/ L4 [/ t6 l. i/ a
% ?3 {3 ?3 ^& S7 _* _' l" \9 K-        Connect piping systems to water mains, supply tanks, pumps, compressors and control equipment  
-        Read and interpret drawings, blueprints and specifications furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form to determine layout requirements
-        Cut openings for pipe in walls, floors and ceilings using hand or power tools or machines
-        Select type and size of pipe required
-        Measure, cut, thread and bend pipe to required shape using hand and power tools
-        Weld, braze, cement, solder and thread joints to join pipes and fabricate sections of piping system
' }5 H# Q8 ^! G0 D-        Install supports, valves, piping and control systems
-        Test system for leaks using testing equipment
1 C" b" d+ g8 g0 _+ p: i-        Clean and maintain pipe units and fittings and flush system
$ n+ T/ K- C; {- k8 C+ i; n-        Remove and replace worn components and reactivate system
-        Actively participate in the Iyinisiw safety program

& I/ V- n; v5 M9 M( s2 Y0 o
% Z- q6 J0 ]+ _  Y-        Completion of secondary school
4 Y1 l! i& d. W# I+ P/ q3 S-        Completion of formal Apprenticeship Program of four- to five-years or a combination of over five years of work experience in the trade and some high school, college or industry courses in pipefitting system installation
-        Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
$ p5 [  N% k8 W5 r, Q-        Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
9 n+ l6 _  O& _/ o- L' I-        Pipefitter trade certification is considered an asset
-        Safety tickets are considered an asset
4 ]5 b, ]7 c+ n" E: v4 V-        Valid drivers’ license is an asset
3 w, B. W- {8 y( t+ @-        Interprovincial Red Seal is an asset
' H8 w; _6 q8 K- v; g! [9 W-        Valid driver’s license is an asset
