0 J) W+ J8 z' g" g6 f2 Z7 ~, uLocation: The job is based in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, however frequent travel to project sites in various provinces of Canada is required.

Responsibilities and Tasks
! X( X( I. c4 F/ d3 ?3 d3 h; J8 N; B: l
5 B: |0 a- q5 S! ~1 L# ?-        Connect piping systems to water mains, supply tanks, pumps, compressors and control equipment  
-        Read and interpret drawings, blueprints and specifications furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form to determine layout requirements
  Y  n- |! [$ j- g) @-        Cut openings for pipe in walls, floors and ceilings using hand or power tools or machines
-        Select type and size of pipe required
-        Measure, cut, thread and bend pipe to required shape using hand and power tools
-        Weld, braze, cement, solder and thread joints to join pipes and fabricate sections of piping system
-        Install supports, valves, piping and control systems
0 ~, `" w: U$ ^' r" ]3 T-        Test system for leaks using testing equipment
-        Clean and maintain pipe units and fittings and flush system
-        Remove and replace worn components and reactivate system

) g9 e; v+ q# U/ l% Z* t-        Other tasks related to pipefitting as may be required during the course of business

Required Qualifications

2 Y7 |0 V8 U; D# ^- u- |% Q-        Completion of secondary school
-        Completion of formal Apprenticeship Program of four- to five-years or a combination of over five years of work experience in the trade and some high school, college or industry courses in pipefitting system installation
-        Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals

+ n, `  ^7 l  u" Y. F7 \-        Pipefitter trade certification is considered an asset
-        Safety tickets are considered an asset
-        Valid drivers’ license is an asset
-        Interprovincial Red Seal is an asset
