Compensation:  Journeyman 1 Automotive Mechanic (or 4th year Apprentices)
Your Choice of Hourly or Flat Rate (Salary under review, Rates based on experience.)
Hours of Work:  This position works 44 hours per week.
Days of work are Monday through Friday, Saturday rotation.
Group benefits package starts after 3 months.

- r8 K, N% X; y5 q- G) qFull-time journeyman to maintain and repair an assortment of vehicles with emphasis placed on preventative maintenance.  

" N( v$ L# W$ X" O5 _% x2 UResponsibilities include:

Diagnose problems and perform all types of repairs to a wide variety of speciality vehicles
5 N5 e  y4 Y! s5 F* qRequisition parts and materials, as required.
- K4 O9 o7 Y" H2 \) pCreate and complete work orders, gather fleet information and input data into the computerized management system.
6 M' M, L9 H! H3 d7 Q9 ?Provide specialized training and guidance to apprentice(s).
& l& e9 p# k, W; X( y; ~: FAccess technical information using Snap-on Shop Key on-line automotive support program and communicate using e-mail.
Other assigned duties.

4 C( a% _- s" g7 ]& hApplicants must possess a valid Journeyman Automotive Mechanic certificate or equivalent recognized by Alberta Apprenticeship and Industry Training.
Applicants also must have a valid Class 5 Driver's Licence (or provincial equivalent).
Preference will be given to those who have current experience diagnosing and repairing North American and/or foreign vehicles.

Only education obtained from an accredited institution will be recognized as meeting the minimum qualifications.
An enhanced security clearance will be conducted.
A Driving Abstract with no more than six demerit points (current within three months) must be provided if contacted for an interview.
