Anticipated Start Date: The candidate is required to work immediately1 L3 t5 n" g% i
( h! l* j X4 I9 PPosition Summary: Within the broad guidelines of Integrated Service Program funded by Citizenship and Immigration Canada, and Alberta Employment and Immigration, the Receptionist/Immigrant Services Worker will answer a multi-line phone calls professional, politely, and directing the calls correctly; assist in clerical needs of the ISP team; assist with providing counter service and act as relieve to the other Immigrant Services Worker. 5 \& U) L5 s# O8 _( f

Key Responsibilities:
! r! s* Z0 Q9 V( k- X) K• Answer incoming calls and route calls to appropriate person3 `$ `& n' Q) E" j, S
• Take and deliver messages to the staff of ASSIST3 l2 \# I" c0 b1 w! S) t
• Welcome clients and direct them appropriately Y8 x5 ^6 S9 D9 P
• Order and maintain office supplies for the front counter3 \# P [4 i7 q9 V& y6 a
• Perform general clerical functions such as photocopying and faxing documents
0 M1 C' x- R$ y% y7 z( S B• Provide assistance to immigrants and clients seeking settlement related services in the capacity of immigrant services worker

• Assist the ISP team in reminding clients to appointments of workshops or other events `. L) L7 b8 O8 m+ G: A
• Keep the reception area tidy and clean
/ i& R) B# H U! }( V• Attend meeting and training to stay current on immigrant settlement matters

• Perform general office duties as assigned

1 Q: F% z0 ]2 ~$ U/ M* T• Excellent communication (verbal and listening) on phone and in person
) y( @, o- p% C• Fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese as an asset
$ Q( m" y% Q& R1 n0 t• Good English writing and oral communication skills
% g+ n; W5 V! @• Ability to work with newcomers and general clients
- \; n* d/ I8 x/ u* d. V, T• Microsoft Office operation skills- Excel, Word, Outlook

Qualifications:, j5 E! b+ c$ u$ R
• 2-4 years of office and clerical experience
6 g- x* y1 W8 T- P8 {8 @• Receptionist or customer service experience in a fast paced environment3 l3 k3 N' K# d- c1 g
• Demonstrate workplace maturity and professionalism
