Position Summary: Within the broad guidelines of Integrated Service Program funded by Citizenship and Immigration Canada, and Alberta Employment and Immigration, the Receptionist/Immigrant Services Worker will answer a multi-line phone calls professional, politely, and directing the calls correctly; assist in clerical needs of the ISP team; assist with providing counter service and act as relieve to the other Immigrant Services Worker.

• Answer incoming calls and route calls to appropriate person; d% n5 B: C( c8 N* e
• Take and deliver messages to the staff of ASSIST
8 |: G; [! P- j m• Welcome clients and direct them appropriately
7 d) j6 R- I, b% b: J• Order and maintain office supplies for the front counter
9 o# l+ S3 `$ Q. i ~. O• Perform general clerical functions such as photocopying and faxing documents
- t! E1 l: B# Q T' P• Provide assistance to immigrants and clients seeking settlement related services in the capacity of immigrant services worker) H+ q+ X- i5 ~+ G+ c
• Maintain and update the information boards with upcoming events$ k. c( C- s9 b- s
• Assist the ISP team in reminding clients to appointments of workshops or other events

• Attend meeting and training to stay current on immigrant settlement matters

• Good English writing and oral communication skills) {8 L7 f: W, V1 {- V+ x2 i, o
• Ability to work with newcomers and general clients$ Z$ { O4 j4 C& D
• Microsoft Office operation skills- Excel, Word, Outlook

Qualifications:* x! L" W3 K9 O; V; K, ?- [, t
• 2-4 years of office and clerical experience
O. r8 n! h* B, l$ x• Receptionist or customer service experience in a fast paced environment

• Ability to work well under minimal supervision
