; B8 @8 x: q0 I* d; kPosition Summary: Within the broad guidelines of Integrated Service Program funded by Citizenship and Immigration Canada, and Alberta Employment and Immigration, the Receptionist/Immigrant Services Worker will answer a multi-line phone calls professional, politely, and directing the calls correctly; assist in clerical needs of the ISP team; assist with providing counter service and act as relieve to the other Immigrant Services Worker. 3 ~) R) c7 v# a5 |3 q' ^

• Welcome clients and direct them appropriately/ ~1 v. A! n% f1 Z
• Order and maintain office supplies for the front counter
p$ w! s5 q6 x% H! R3 W• Perform general clerical functions such as photocopying and faxing documents2 ^% t/ Z3 x& k: O
• Provide assistance to immigrants and clients seeking settlement related services in the capacity of immigrant services worker
% f* V: w+ T' S S• Maintain and update the information boards with upcoming events
. V6 m" X$ i# {: Q• Assist the ISP team in reminding clients to appointments of workshops or other events

• Attend meeting and training to stay current on immigrant settlement matters

• Perform general office duties as assigned

• Excellent communication (verbal and listening) on phone and in person& c% }; r- V& h; h
• Fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese as an asset2 @, H K8 w& W' [
• Good English writing and oral communication skills4 p+ I, u$ T- P$ {" g
• Ability to work with newcomers and general clients
; x4 O% Q+ a4 D0 b7 v8 u• Microsoft Office operation skills- Excel, Word, Outlook" r2 @$ t! K4 s8 H* Z
• Ability to address multi-task and set priority appropriately

• 2-4 years of office and clerical experience

• Ability to work well under minimal supervision- Q% Z3 |4 o( C6 ^1 M
