) w' S* Z) d; T- provide volunteers to update membership database- I9 \$ m, C3 ?! d( J. k" r; [, x
- recruiting, performing security and reference checks, providing orientation, supervising, referring and placing volunteers
' R3 K& a# b4 s0 X6 t* o- train volunteers for ISP and provide duties

- provide volunteers for various programs
+ d$ S9 w0 s2 ^! H' }+ z& d' Q! `- coordinate, update Volunteer Manual4 k% |' |. w0 S) Q
- planning and coordinating Volunteer Appreciation. A& c- b. h9 _( r
- participate in ISP department and agency meetings/activities% ~1 k v. h D% V- h
- participate in external committees/conferences/workshops related to volunteer services' g: G% Q2 M+ O( O) A
- assist in writing ISP proposals and reports
$ c, K5 U3 ]+ b- provide volunteers for Centre activities as needed

- work flexible hours (including evenings, weekends as required)
+ z) x& A# p9 K3 m4 c- promoting volunteerism through various media including the 3 main Chinese newspapers, Chinese radio station and the Chinese television, Fairchild TV, brochures, pamphlets, booth displays, special events ) S l( P, g4 t' h6 t6 W) E
- development and distribution of a volunteer manual 7 }) B! K% ^9 r+ S9 z, I/ o+ Q
- planning and implementing training sessions for volunteers # m, ?; @; h, g0 q; D) e
- planning and implementing training sessions for staff that work with volunteers ( W# A# r; v) A
- consulting and reporting to the Advisory Committee on a regular basis

Qualifications
+ a9 @5 T# d$ i( T" F+ y- degree or diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or related experience and education* o) z1 c6 T0 l* u' K9 i* d; W# _4 m. C
- good oral and written Chinese and English skills
. k, k4 H- v6 F2 d- experience in volunteer coordinating and immigrant services! ~) e0 |+ R, `* ?: D+ C
- leadership skills
