- community development, liaison with mainstream agencies to provide services for Chinese community2 N& e+ j6 Y; q. i, n! ?+ }6 f) t
- workshops, seminars, activities that give Chinese population access to mainstream services
' s. l7 H1 Z$ L o; [- fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of social services) x$ f4 |, d7 z W
- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies

- coordinate and send out quarterly newsletter to members

- prepare and send AGM information to members

- participate in ISP department and agency meetings/activities
1 r% W: A0 H2 v6 _' z% g- demonstrate team spirit in achieving vision and objectives of Centre

- assist in writing proposal for ISP8 p2 d$ e0 W( n5 ]: s
- write quarterly and final reports for ISP" E/ j8 Z3 ?& n. t+ L
- explore new ideas for ISP

$ z& G$ T' T7 d: I; R1 a- assist with Centre’s other activities or programs as prescribed from time to time, Q. X6 z! [6 N2 P
- update membership database

- work flexible hours (including evenings, weekends as required)4 A! {/ y$ n# }3 q

Qualifications; C) U; ?1 b- v0 i
- degree in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of experience and education
* q* d+ d: B% n5 J/ R1 G, }- good oral and written Chinese and English skills
+ B5 C" e6 z8 ?. y4 K) L- experience in community work and immigrant services% W, y2 u) I& o( G% J
- ability to coordinate workshops and seminars
. o( K5 t1 f+ ]8 S# K7 e1 p) q; f- leadership skills
# N5 A' K( Q: U2 ^" p- exceptional communication, interpersonal skills
