Position:         Food Service Supervisor (NOC 6212)

Wages:         $13.30/ hour, 40 hours per week

Main duties:
1 D- ~9 u' X% P$ f7 O6 c  X•        Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule the activities of staff who prepare, portion and serve food
$ y! P# m: d9 [0 C. {3 p•        Estimate and order ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation
1 m3 s# R( M: Z. O•        Prepare food order summaries for chef according to requests from customers
( N* {8 l0 Z. I1 U2 i9 C. Z" S•        Establish methods to meet work schedules
•        Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
•        Train staff in job duties, and sanitation and safety procedures
•        Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
•        May participate in the selection of food service staff and assist in the development of policies, procedures and budgets

3 P3 y9 T& H! j( b' ^" o•        Completion of secondary education is required
•        2 years of experience in food preparation or service are required
: w7 Z8 ~- S6 ^•        Availability to work day, night and weekend shifts and “on call” requests are a must
+ y0 z, k) q) s3 q0 T* g6 p•        Viable candidates must  have a suitable means to travel to and from work regardless of time of day
