Effective August 1, 2002, Saskatchewan motorists will only have to report motor vehicle collisions to police if the collision involves:: t& C" y! k: G* G
1) Any bodily injury or death;* }1 ~3 r( V8 L8 R7 k. C
2) A Hit-and-Run;
4 b. B, Q9 D' C7 Q3) A driver impaired by alcohol or drugs;- l1 Y( R8 d+ e" w4 L
4) A motor vehicle towed from the scene;
- j1 K+ V. ?# {: Q9 b5) An out-of-province vehicle.

5 ^" F6 i* y1 ?( jNormally, police would be dispatched to the collisions described above. One exception may be an owner's discovery that his/her vehicle has been damaged in a hit-and-run, but the vehicle can still be safely driven to Police Headquarters. In such a case, the owner could make a report in person at Police Headquarters./ P( _/ n+ l& q4 g/ h
