Effective August 1, 2002, Saskatchewan motorists will only have to report motor vehicle collisions to police if the collision involves:
e; T2 P" O; B" X3 Y: n1) Any bodily injury or death;
- q% t$ P1 o B0 g' G, v7 k2) A Hit-and-Run;
0 m5 n/ R$ s* q9 M( d, U3) A driver impaired by alcohol or drugs;" ?( k# Z. Z- ?
4) A motor vehicle towed from the scene;

Normally, police would be dispatched to the collisions described above. One exception may be an owner's discovery that his/her vehicle has been damaged in a hit-and-run, but the vehicle can still be safely driven to Police Headquarters. In such a case, the owner could make a report in person at Police Headquarters.
