" @. F& Z7 ~$ i- b/ x1 g$ |# a3 D! iEffective August 1, 2002, Saskatchewan motorists will only have to report motor vehicle collisions to police if the collision involves:
1 ^ J! h) W! l1) Any bodily injury or death;9 [0 o* r% G& S; q4 o
2) A Hit-and-Run;
/ a& x' u8 ^$ m5 `3) A driver impaired by alcohol or drugs;6 ]- Q3 Q+ z6 }' C1 k
4) A motor vehicle towed from the scene;
! p5 j6 ^: d) B5 X5) An out-of-province vehicle.2 h: G o4 b/ f$ j
9 b8 P( M# t% ENormally, police would be dispatched to the collisions described above. One exception may be an owner's discovery that his/her vehicle has been damaged in a hit-and-run, but the vehicle can still be safely driven to Police Headquarters. In such a case, the owner could make a report in person at Police Headquarters., q9 e. O8 ^. ^0 u) w/ C
