Tracer Industries Canada Limited (owned by Tyco Thermal Controls) is now accepting applications for a Senior Human Resources Generalist.: U0 U, j/ B! w0 i
Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, your duties will include, but not be limited to:

9 |3 M- c+ q& o8 G# g& i, E2 b•        Foster positive employee relations through effective interpersonal communication with all team members.% C$ x) q$ Q3 P% b* {; J
•        Support the introduction, training and participation in Human Resources related programs, including performance management, ethical conduct and career development.
1 b: ?& x/ @( f7 c, o•        Promote management best practices and provide guidance on employment standards and employee relations issues., d) u5 V2 B( V5 {, J! L9 B( r
•        Research, develop and implement recognition and retention strategies and initiatives.
4 S/ F9 p, v7 s6 m2 y# V, A: U•        Participate in full cycle recruitment process to successfully attract candidates.: M3 v6 V9 |6 B6 g* S: f: v
•        Prepare required Human Resources reporting (including ad hoc reports, turnover statistics, organizational charts, employee updates, weekly recruiting reporting) as required." L$ g( B! D. I$ Q) p" |
•        Distribute pertinent information to the Payroll Department and Tracer's benefit providers.9 c( ^. j, l6 z2 Q. B
•        Maintain personnel information for union and non-union employees in Tracer's Human Resources Information System (SAP).9 y6 d. K8 w( g& Q  h2 o
•        Coordinate the company group RRSP plan and employee stock purchase program.! ~" Z7 {! v) x& @
•        Support the development and implementation of company forms, policies and procedures./ J( |/ b) n9 r' p
•        Attend and participate in departmental meetings.
3 D: i& z4 V3 \3 _* {& f•        Assist with the formulation and implementation of internal training programs.$ k; O' H7 X! x
•        Maintain the highest level of confidentiality.

Qualifications+ i: L. \; u) q
Requirements:' o2 T/ z! v1 S2 n7 R8 ~( o. _
•        Applicants must possess a high level of integrity and professionalism, as well as strong organizational and written and verbal communication skills. & H( v4 P# I  }. @- f9 _4 x
•        The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience in a Human Resources Generalist position, as well as post-secondary education specializing in Human Resources.
& M& F/ J2 F6 b$ b•        Strong Union Relations experience required.
. D$ J% M( g7 N% h. l•        Proficiency in MS Office is required and SAP experience is considered an asset.. A* A" d9 i! v. g3 D% X0 n- M
•        CHRP Designation is an asset.
