Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, your duties will include, but not be limited to:

• Support the introduction, training and participation in Human Resources related programs, including performance management, ethical conduct and career development.6 t8 p0 f) H% P& Y8 g# |$ n
• Promote management best practices and provide guidance on employment standards and employee relations issues." P/ |+ L* R" c# W
• Research, develop and implement recognition and retention strategies and initiatives. v0 g* ^: D- \% V. G+ n7 v: g: C
• Participate in full cycle recruitment process to successfully attract candidates.
3 Q7 @/ t8 i3 x V+ D• Prepare required Human Resources reporting (including ad hoc reports, turnover statistics, organizational charts, employee updates, weekly recruiting reporting) as required.' Y9 {6 N; W4 c! {+ h/ k4 y/ i. u# {
• Distribute pertinent information to the Payroll Department and Tracer's benefit providers.1 Z6 ~5 ~ R: N! ~2 j: u
• Maintain personnel information for union and non-union employees in Tracer's Human Resources Information System (SAP).7 w0 q* J8 M% o1 ^# t0 c7 I8 N
• Coordinate the company group RRSP plan and employee stock purchase program.- b/ r$ G) s# i. t% R6 n8 L
• Support the development and implementation of company forms, policies and procedures.) z" ~$ d! _1 n1 X4 q7 Z
• Attend and participate in departmental meetings.6 O% J- ^% e, p; `! `2 [/ {+ K& I
• Assist with the formulation and implementation of internal training programs.; N7 K( j; a* t4 s

• Additional special projects as required by the Human Resources Manager.

• Applicants must possess a high level of integrity and professionalism, as well as strong organizational and written and verbal communication skills.
# j- J+ L6 `( C9 S! d: }• The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience in a Human Resources Generalist position, as well as post-secondary education specializing in Human Resources.
1 x+ Q9 s1 g: e" Q# B• Strong Union Relations experience required.
7 x3 o; h+ t% o, r• Proficiency in MS Office is required and SAP experience is considered an asset.
