Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, your duties will include, but not be limited to:- p# V1 p4 ]; \- ~& D6 @7 f
• Encourage and enhance a positive and professional working environment.. g( v' W. q! H/ |1 @
• Foster positive employee relations through effective interpersonal communication with all team members.
) z) e$ ]( h: M• Support the introduction, training and participation in Human Resources related programs, including performance management, ethical conduct and career development./ A3 u# x5 d2 |. }! [% m/ J
• Promote management best practices and provide guidance on employment standards and employee relations issues.
) [& a/ s. q8 K' G% Y& ?! @& J• Research, develop and implement recognition and retention strategies and initiatives. 5 B* ~3 |( s4 e, ]- I% N/ v3 E$ d1 Y
• Participate in full cycle recruitment process to successfully attract candidates.2 v! G8 \- p/ S! P
• Prepare required Human Resources reporting (including ad hoc reports, turnover statistics, organizational charts, employee updates, weekly recruiting reporting) as required.7 d/ O, c& k1 F/ k. p
• Distribute pertinent information to the Payroll Department and Tracer's benefit providers.
3 P& W& z0 K2 |! q: _• Maintain personnel information for union and non-union employees in Tracer's Human Resources Information System (SAP).
* a4 p; J* l! Q& I( C4 t" U7 \• Coordinate the company group RRSP plan and employee stock purchase program.

]3 d; b% W ]• Attend and participate in departmental meetings.
! G( f* {. B; l• Assist with the formulation and implementation of internal training programs.1 h2 t4 D5 R( F g. U
• Maintain the highest level of confidentiality.

3 J' F) |* z8 h& O+ lQualifications
' Y# J* i$ w; X6 MRequirements:2 d. {7 s- J2 i) C& X
• Applicants must possess a high level of integrity and professionalism, as well as strong organizational and written and verbal communication skills.
) W6 h2 ^( t# L• The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience in a Human Resources Generalist position, as well as post-secondary education specializing in Human Resources. 1 b; W/ p9 k- z8 x. X4 ?, b
• Strong Union Relations experience required.
( H5 T$ Z& ^' V1 U( ^8 e+ d+ }' D: f• Proficiency in MS Office is required and SAP experience is considered an asset.
