Shifts: 8am -5pm, with a one hour lunch break

+ d8 {& F& I, m: {Job Description:
•        Review damage report and estimates of repair cost and plan work to be performed
; Z( s: [. Z* r" e# ]9 O•        Repair and replace front end components, body components, doors and frame and underbody components
  \$ Q; S+ P5 ~3 ~) W•        Hammer out dents, buckles and other defects using blocks and hammers
•        Operate soldering equipment or use plastic filler to fill holes, dents and seams
•        Remove damaged fenders, panels and grills using wrenches and cutting torch and bolt or weld replacement parts into place
9 m% X4 |) Y4 T•        Straighten bent frames using frame and underbody pulling and anchoring equipment
2 k  {& f9 \4 J3 w, j2 U$ \* U•        File, grind and sand repaired body surfaces using hand and power tools
, X0 C5 Y) J* j8 D2 Q; M•        Mask and tape auto body surfaces in preparation for painting
•        Mix paint, blend and match colors
. x: J+ F- g, l. d•        Apply primers and repaint surfaces using brush or spray guns
( q3 Y9 \+ ]) @/ G/ g% z, _•        Repair and replace glass components such as windshields, windows and sunroofs
•        Repair or replace interior components, such as seat frame assembly, carpets and floorboard insulation
* s0 ?: G: r, l& B•        Inspect repaired vehicles and test drive vehicles for proper handling
Education and Experience Requirements:
1 a" q! ]# {* f•        Completion of secondary school is required
# k& j, j0 E( J( E! ?•        Completion of a three- to four-year motor vehicle body repair apprenticeship program
- j6 i% F2 \! G& {; v+ wor
' |; v/ v- ^8 ^A combination of over three years of work experience in the motor vehicle body repair trade
•        Alberta Trade certification for motor vehicle body repair (metal and paint) is compulsory
