How old is too old when it comes to being a mother?  Is 45 pushing it? How about 50? At what point is the capacity to nurture a child weakened or lessened by the fact of a woman's age, if at all?   
' C, l9 Y5 }5 wA recent interview with an older mother in Britain (via The Daily Telegraph ) offers an interesting take on the debate about age and motherhood, in particular whether there should be an age limit when it comes to choosing the option of IVF.
The person who's saying there should be a cap: 61-year-old Susan Tollefson, a.k.a. "Britain's oldest mother."  
# {5 h6 R) ?) c6 b; yIn 2008, Tollefson underwent IVF treatment at a Russian clinic. Using an egg from a donor and her partner's sperm, she went on to become pregnant at the very ripe old age of 57 and gave birth to a healthy daughter, Freya.

    目前从事房地产仲介的达葛尔，与妻子在1984年结婚，到目前为止总共生了19名儿女，每个孩子的年龄相差约在1岁多。蜜雪儿生第19个孩子时，面临紧急危险状况，曾经成为媒体报导焦点。

    2009年12月，蜜雪儿在有子癫前症的状况下，紧急剖腹生下第19个宝宝，由于比预产期足足提早3个半月出生，这名女婴出生体重仅1磅6盎司（约624公克），生下来后在医院足足待了4个月。

    “生活科学”（LiveScience）网站报导，医师指出以全球统计数字来看，每名妇女如果生产次数越多，母亲本身的死亡率或新生儿的死亡率，也都会相对提高，已经产下许多宝宝的妇女，如果怀孕次数越多，面临的健康风险也会增加。
